I'm standing at a Colas 37, a Hornby K1 (for £64 come on) and 2 coaches...and no I don't need to know what the rest of you have.

I have cake.............
As a great man once said "if you have cake nothing is impossible"

Very nice video shows off the layout very well, The public seemed very close to the layout! And I see the talkative kids were there

As the Secretary of the S&DMRS I'm often asked if we're still alive? The simple answer is yes we are but sadly a little smaller then we were. However things are picking up as work is under way on a number of new layouts one of which is 'GRINDON BROADWAY' a 24x8 foot layout. Work is also underway on the late Jack Burnard's last layout 'JACKS DRIFT' a small mining layout which has already been to a number of exhibitions.
We meet on a Monday night at 7.30 all are welcome so please contact me for details.

Top stuff, just picked up a Hornby R3344 Network Rail Class 31 for £99...now that's a bargain!!!
I think you just piped me to that one as it went out of stock very quick I did pick up a Colas 37 so not a bad day

They could just ask everyone to hold it in

The Azuma coach with the display saying Sunderland could be right as it seems LNER now run trains starting from Sunderland to London
-
Yes the grilles are black on the 60
Some from last night, Doncaster to Landor st tank train
LNER livery Azuma, didn’t realise at the time this was the first time it had been out, I put a pic on Twitter before I set off from Doncaster and when I put the phone back on when I got off at Landor st I had 60 notifications for likes and reteeets, it had been seen 3000 plus times, most likes and retweet’s have been from Japanese people!
Then my train came in on the goods, should have been platform 3! Double headed with 66719 and 66766
And away to Saltley where the train continued to Cardiff
Is it my eyes or do's that 1st class coach say Sunderland?

I've been looking at my 'I'll make it one day box' and I found a kit by PH Designs for a Network Rail DBSO with windows lights etc. Of course I've lost the paper work for it, so I wondered if anyone had a copy that they could maybe e-mail to me.
As always any help is very welcome

Really enjoyed the video great stuff
the young kid who was talking and enjoying themselves seems to go to every show

Simon and I were discussing the TPS Grids at the end of the bay line and I wasn't sure of the spacing. He quoted me some figures but got them round the wrong way....which I didn't notice...as I knew what he meant. The next issue is how to make the grids because the Peco ones are wrong for the smaller 'toast racks'
Yes I see now, I have some of the Peco ones I was about to fit but I never thought to check the size....good catch.
Really looking forward to your layout coming 'up north' next year.... or even the year after
-
Do you all really know what all that means? If so please feel free to explain
-
I hope we see some photos from Worthing
-
No sign of a repainted class 60 yet?
-
Very impressive well done... stop picking at your work all the time it looks great

Hi I've just fitted a DH126MT chip to my new Bachmann class 66 which ran great on DC, however after fitting the chip I was unable to control the locos speed as luck would have it, it was still on the running road or it would have landed on the floor. The loco is set at 128 speed step I've tried changing cv 2 and momentum cv's 3&4 but nothing works. The loco is running very smooth...just over speed. Any help and advice would be very welcome before sadly sending the chip back
I've sent it back

I think everyone wants to be Banksy
-
I'm not sure what that was but I don't like it! And I'm not very keen on new Freightliner livery
