RES liveried 47 would do very nicely for me. Suppose it would be too much to ask to get a PCV to go with it? Maybe one day!

Very sad indeed but I’d also say he’s done quite well to reach that age given the life he has led. RIP.

I’ve just taken delivery of four of these and have to say I really like them. I particularly like the packaging of the triple pack. I plan on running these with 3 MK1 blue and grey coaches. What would be an acceptable general formation? All SK’s? BSK and 2 SK’s? Thanks.

Blyth Station - Late 50's / Early 60's
Clagsniffer replied to AndrewG's topic in UK Prototype Questions
Having grown up in Blyth I will be following this thread with interest. One thing I was wanting to find out was about types of coaching stock and formations of trains hauled by the G5’s. Most pictures I’ve seen are two or three coach rakes, I’m guessing the closest thing RTR would be the Hornby Gresley suburbans by Hornby? Apologies for the thread hijack but though it would be relevant. -
Took this while out for a walk on holiday which I’m lead to believe is a Scotch Argus. Not bad for a phone photo.

Had a very pleasant holiday in the highlands again this year. We scaled Ben Hiant on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, our two cocker spaniels, Brian and Toby, enjoyed it. Also had a wander round the oak woods at Strontian and climbed up the hill to get a nice view of Loch Sunart. What a holiday.

Caught sight of this little chap while I was inspecting the planter at the front of my house tonight. House mouse?

Hi all, I’m after a pair of commonwealth bogies for a Super GUV. The model I have is a Hornby model but I believe it to be derived from a Lima model so both should fit? TIA

People are still too busy staring at them no doubt! Mine has been delivered today, can’t wait to get home and see it! -
RES livery 47 would be lovely.

Only just recently discovered the Silversun Pickups, absolutely love this song and love this live version.

I was walking in Dundeugh Forest near Loch Ken today and came across a slow worm for the first time. Amazing looking things!

RevolutioN Trains Announce Alcan PCA Alumina Tanks in OO Gauge

Where can I preorder these wagons? Every time I click on the shop page on the website it just says “no products found”? -
I had two bogies come loose which resulted in quite a spectacular pile up, sending two of the wagons crashing to the floor. Damage wasn’t as bad as I was expecting but a few buffers have snapped off and disappeared completely. Are any aftermarket buffers available anywhere? I’ve dropped KR an email but haven’t heard back yet……….. Cheers.

Talking of hedgehogs, I spotted one in the back garden for the first time last week. So I bought some proper hedgehog food and put water out for them. I set a trail camera up to check and was chuffed to see some customers!

I don’t have any overhead wires on my layout but that 90 in RES livery just looks too smart to resist.

Pleased to say my wagons have arrived safe and sound! Pretty sure I ordered mine complete with wagon loads but no loads have been included, are these following on at a later date?
-
I’d love to see a Royal Mail class 325.

Any updates on these?

Hi folks, not sure if this is the right place for this so apologies if not! My dad spotted a 37 on the back of a lorry going through warkworth village Northumberland today (23/11/21), looked like in rail freight red stripe livery. Any ideas where it was going or coming from? Thanks.

Stunning work! Really looking forward to seeing more.
