  1. Tried to order P4 wheels with my 56049 from Rails, but they weren't listed at the time. When eventually listed, they were described as EM/P4, but I was only able to 'wishlist' them. The p4 wheelset is listed today, but the button to pre-order wouldn't function. Went to my wishlisted set and the pre-order button worked, but then showed as EM. Question is, should I wait for Rails to sort out their site, phone them directly, or order from elsewhere before they sell out entirely? Jon
  2. The news of this version of the IHA has prompted me to dig out and complete my scratchbuilt model of the IHA-G, which is ex-GERS and now Touax. Built from drawings on the Touax website (www.touaxrail.com/content/uksisfhimmns) and due to be finished with some excellent Railtec transfers (Sheet 8599). I also have a pair of Bachmann Y27 bogies ready - just trying to P4 them for complication. I might actually get it finished before the Revolution IHA-F arrives! Jon
  3. The container lid is fiddly to remove (spread the white hooks on either side and pull) in order to fit a couple of CR927 batteries. But rotating axle covers that aren't wonky and don't fall off - superb! Also fantastic levels of printed decoration. Top marks to Accurascale. Jon
  4. I may have missed info in this thread, but where can I find a guide to fitting the EM and P4 wheelsets to the Class 37? Unless I'm going mad, I can't find any information on the Accurascale website either. Don't want to mess this up,as there's a lot of very fragile details in this area. It also looks different to the Deltic bogies. Jon
  5. Thanks Mick, but neither that website or precisiondecals.com or precisionlabels.co.uk work on any of my devices. Jon
  6. I've been trying to find the Precision Decals / Precision Labels website, which I have bookmarked. Over several months I've failed to connect. Does anyone know if John Peck is still trading? Jon
  7. Any reason for this? As a P4 modeller, specific wheelsets are a godsend and have already been ordered for my eagerly anticipated Class 37. The only other options are Gibson or (if your life is long enough!) Ultrascale, neither of which will be specific for either the prototype or the Accurascale Class 92. I had assumed that all future Accurascale locos would have this option, which (amongst other things) raised them well above the standards of other manufacturers. Jon
  8. Isn't it typical - you get to a certain stage, convinced that nobody will make an RTR version, then this happens! Having said that, I was kind of stuck when it comes to the sheer volume of printed notices, etc. all over these new FNA's. Jon
  9. The ECR Class 66 'snowplough' is also available as a 3d printed pair from Precision Labels - http://www.precisionlabels.com/k8.html? Jon
  10. Hi Jo, Any chance of a 4mm version to fit the Dapol IOA? It would help to tone down the 'plasticky' look of the model. Thanks, Jon
  11. Hi Jon, Definitely interested in one or two, having successfully built two pairs of your Twin Ferry Van / IZA. Will be interesting to compare with my scratchbuilt version. Jon
  12. Hi Ben, Model Transport Graphics - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Northern-Trains-Destination-Blinds-for-Hornby-Bachmann-Class-142-150-156-158/153913385294?hash=item23d5f3e14e:g:qL8AAOSwqSteqc~X Scotrail also available. Not tried them myself! Jon
  13. Hi Steve, I asked the same question about Class 155 Northern spot transfers, but I used email and it seems to have vanished into the ether! Jon
  14. and....Revolution 2- and 3-unit Ecofret in OO http://www.revolutiontrains.com/revolution-has-it-large-with-ecofrets/ Jon
  15. Hi Ben and Mike, I've contacted you twice regarding the balance invoice expected, as I've changed email address since placing my order. Are you receiving emails via the RevolutioN website, as I've not heard anything? Order #3479 for 6 x TEAs. Thanks, Jon
  16. Darryl, The correct buffers for the wagons you mention are (in whitemetal) S-Kits BU9: Round top rectangular Continental reverse pattern, 620mm long - £1.85 for 4 buffers. Just a happy customer! Jon
  17. Hi, Anyone know what's happening with the Precision Labels / Precision Decals website - www.precisonlabels.com? Every time I try and go there, I get a constantly cycling result that never opens properly. Also, my online protection advises me not to go there Jon
  18. And don't forget that China Shipping and Italia transfers are available from Railtec in 4mm scale: http://www.railtec-models.com/showitem.php?id=1652 and http://www.railtec-models.com/showitem.php?id=1653 Jon
  19. Not a BSI Tightlock or a Dellner, but a NEM compatible Scharfenberg coupler is available from Hornby International http://www.hornbyinternational.com/en/couplers/2512-model-railway-coupler-system-scharfenberg.html Jon
  20. Yes - I think that the current on captures the essence of the MoD container well (multiple doors). The addition of separate locking bars will give that extra relief that's missing. Jon
  21. Hi WBF, Like the MoD 20ft container, but agree that the locking bars have come out too shallow. I think that if you make these deeper, they'll appear too solid and look like 'moulded' items. Much better to use them as guides for overlaying separate locking bars (available from C-Rail or make your own). I'd certainly be interested in a few of these, not just for PFAs, but to fit 3 at a time on Hornby KFAs as well. Jon
