Confussion.... I have an interview at work for a new job on Monday, but the NHS wont accept my NHS ID badge that they gave me as ID! Why do I have an ID badge if it can't be used as ID?

  Whenever we recruit anyone we have to take a photocopy of passport or other id to prove that candidates have the right to work in the UK and haven't got an expired overseas visa etc

Mention is often made of the generic basic 'shelf stacking job in a supermarket'. I've been looking for jobs for five years and I've never seen an advert for one. Can someone tell me where this generic role gets advertised? :-S

  My son collects the trollies from the local Tesco car park. He started there 10 years ago as a part time shelf stacker whilst a student at college and now works full time. He is fully trained in all till operations but prefers the outside work especially in the summer! Pay is the same regardless of which job he does so he gets overtime on the tills most weeks.
