  1. I've been a couple of times this year, including the Baldwin's first day in service: After a morning at the Fairbourne Gala: Also rode behind or on nine Quarry Hunslets that weekend
  2. I have a driving pupil who lives in the newish halls of residence in Howard Gardens.....
  3. Thus. Due to a misunderstanding, this 3ft gauge Isle of Man loco is being delivered to a standard gauge shed.
  4. Rhyl Miniature Railway Gala. 24th September 2023. 4 Barnes Atlantics in action.
  5. Corris Falcon No10 in action. 23rd September 2023:
  6. They actually got eaten on the Talyllyn on Saturday :)
  7. They'd probably be the wrong shade of yellow.
  8. My biscuits may well be eaten at the Bala Lake Railway Gala tomorrow.....
  9. I had an afternoon there last year:
  10. No, it was where SVR runs parallel to Network Rail immediately outside Kiddy station, so all was stopped until it was clear.
  11. The attempted suicide was Thursday, so didn't affect me, as was the main lineside fire.
  12. Spent last Friday and Saturday at the Diesel Festival. Busy on Friday, very, very busy on Saturday: Still very enjoyable though, despite delays.
  13. I didn't receive acknowledgement, but I'd included a fair bit of feedback when I asked for a refund for my Fell, so know that they read that.
  14. Likewise. Having returned my faulty Fell for a full refund, I've been very honest, which they may not like.
  15. BR blue/ sectorisation and later on, BR Eastern Region. I make no apologies for an chronological mismatches, on or off the rails, life's too short!
  16. Have a look at the film I posted on this thread on Sept 16th. 38mins in the two trains are seen passing at Aberfrrwd....
  17. Well that's rather splendid! Now vac and steam heat fitted, as Loftshire is nominally a Heritage railway, and it'll get chance to work passenger trains occasionally. On test it managed 7 Mark 1's comfortably, though this won't be a regular occurance.
  18. I was there on Sunday:
  19. I've been meaning to use that on here for a while, curses, too late!
  20. Seeing as many of them don't test or inspect locos that are being posted, and I doubt that any routinely examine every item of rolling stock they sell, we'll never know.
  21. No, I got one for Leader, it's their computer system being weird (again). It's a very, very long way from being ready I would imagine.
