    Just upgraded my phone contract, keeping my iphone 5s instead of going for a 6 has dropped my monthly cost by £30 a month and given me 3 times as much data, 20gb (and 12 months Now TV as well)

      Sorry to hear. Had my dog put down last year and it's very hard - have to remember that it is the right thing for them.

       

      BrushVeteran, when my vet was discussing my dog's final visit he said to me to look at their "good" days and "bad" days. If you start getting more bad days than good then it's time.

    Man, cars are expensive. Damn Chrysler cost me just shy of a grand to get through its MOT! And that was just for tyres and brakes...

      I feel your pain. My car is due a big service this year. Just spent on tyres, now it's due a major service, brake fluid, front discs and pads, gearbox fluid, cambelt and water pump and it needs a new thermostat.

      I think we're moving towards manufacturers trying to sell out their products before they're even produced. Holding stock is expensive and cash draining.

       

      I wouldn't count on any surprise announcements ever again tbh.

      I think it's because supply of new models has dried up, and when they do come through they themselves are double the price they were two or three years ago.

      Signed - i am a petrol head, but I don't always agree with Clarkson's opinions. HOWEVER I do agree with his right to express them.

       

      I had a look through some of his controversies. One of them was after the India episode - as a British Indian I didn't find it at all offensive and people need to lighten up sometimes.

      Personally I think that middle lane driving should be punishable as "driving without due care and attention" or "driving without reasonable consideration for other road users" because that is exactly what it is.

       

      Driving is not a right. It's a privilege. If you cannot respect that privilege, don't drive. Simples.
