I am trying to do this in 2mm, n gauge. I am at a loss as how to replicate the blue light and make it operable in DCC. Do you have any suggestions? Regards, Brian

I have seen a photograph of Caledonian Railway Station Furniture in an etch by John Boyle. I wonder if the drawings would be available anywhere? I know it was in 4mm but I would like to reproduce the furniture in 2mm scale. Any assistance welcome. Brian

Hmm, not many kids could afford £140 for a locomotive and £35 for a coach. They have been priced out of N Gauge.

He He! Just completed the task but with a Zimo 616F. My 86 didn't have the capacitor! Anyway, done in ten minutes and it fairly scoots round the track. Not bad for something just about fifteen years younger than myself. Amazing!

I have 2 of these locos and never thought of DCC for them. Now I am converted! Many thanks.

It would be even nicer if Dapol were to shrink the boiler and produce the Scottish "Clans" 6P

It should be worth noting that the evening freight from Bell's Yard, Glasgow, "The Heilan' Flyer" was often run to Perth behind a Metrovick on layover from Condor traffic. It has been mentioned elsewhere by a Perth stalwart from personal observation.

Progress takes some time but the layout is now emerging. I intend to upload pics as progress develops.
