  1. Hi, I'm finishing up the Scaldwell article now, and hope it will indeed appear in issue 110. Dan
  2. My article on the Kettering system is now with Roy Link and will be appearing in issue 06 of the Review which should be going out shortly after Easter. Dan
  3. A quick update on my articles. The first part, covering the Waltham system, has just gone off to Roy Link and is scheduled to appear in issue 105 (January 2016). The Kettering article is due to follow in issue 106. Dan
  4. The Forestry Commission maintained a depot at Chirk, on the site of the Glyn Valley Tramway station. It was operational from around the end of the Second World War into the 1960s (and possibly later). The depot served most of the operations in Mid Wales and held at least two locomotives, and a lot of jubilee track for creating temporary logging railways. I'm trying to track down a photograph of the depot for my forthcoming book on the Hendre Ddu Tramway. Does anyone know of any photos of the depot? Many thanks, Dan
  5. My article covers the narrow gauge ironstone tramways at Waltham, Kettering, Scaldwell and Wellingborough. It will be appearing in four parts in future issues of the Narrow Gauge and Industrial Railway Modelling Review.
  6. I'm pleased to say my article has been accepted for publication. More details to follow.
  7. I am working on an article that covers Kettering and the loco liveries and will include a high-res version of that image. I'm hoping to publish it in the New Year in one of the railway magazines.
