Good evening, everyone. Firstly, thank you, Mick, for that excellent photo’ of 12114, shunting the Hump at New Inward Yard, in the mid '50's. Plus the map of a might have been, a c1914 proposal to buid a loop south of Springhead.
Now, this evening we, we have four photo’s thanks to Andy Mason, John Turner, Simon Kerry, and Syd Young, all on Flickr.
The first one is a view of 37332+248 as they storm up Speeton bank with the Scarborough Maid railtour. The details, according to Six Bells are:
It ran on the 31st March, 1997, from Reading to York, Selby, Hull, Scarborough, York and back to Reading. 56078 worked the tour from Scarborough to Yorkshire, with the 37’s on the rear.
The second photo’ shows The National Railwaty Museum's preserved Stanier, LMS built (Crewe, 1935) class 5 4-6-0 No 5000 (with support coach) as it runs along Selby Street, Hull, on its way to Paragon station in anticipation of working 1Z72, the 09:20 Hull to Chester (via Normanton) steam special, on the 14th May, 1983.
Next we have a photo’ of 47847 working train 4D94, a Doncaster to Hull gypsum train through Gilberdyke on the 10th April, 2015.
Finally, we have a photo’, taken from Brickyard Lane bridge, of 66250 passing with train, 6J94, the 12:25 Hedon Road - Rotherham Masborough steel empties on the 20th January, 2015.
Best regards,Rob.

Paignton of my childhood... Delles Cafe and the Regent Cinema, (not that I went in them but they where always there,) until they destroyed Delles Cafe and the run of shops there... remember May's Bakery almost underneath the footbridge, and Woolies beside the signal box... the old footbridge... you could look right into the box off the footbridge...
The queue of traffic backing up into Hyde Road past Waycotts corner, my old Doctors above their untill it burnt down and they moved to Bishops Place...

Sounds just like my holidays in the 60s/70s.
As soon has the bells rang out, for the crossing gates, i would run out of the
woolies to see the Warships & Westerns.

Bear in mind these are still decorated samples, not fully finished models.
So will the MU covers on the front be able to be taken off
if you want to fit jumper cables.
