Good evening, everyone. Firstly, thank you, Mick, for that excellent photo’ of 12114, shunting the Hump at New Inward Yard, in the mid '50's. Plus the map of a might have been, a c1914 proposal to buid a loop south of Springhead.

Now, this evening we, we have four photo’s thanks to Andy Mason, John Turner, Simon Kerry, and Syd Young, all on Flickr.

Here's a new one, nicked from Facebook but 50023 "HOWE" at Oxford Carriage Sidings on ECS, to form the (1F71) 17.00 to Paddington Service on 14/2/89.  Note the black windscreen surround over the white.

They look black on that pic.

But on my photo in Jan 89, they look blue ?

Paignton of my childhood... Delles Cafe and the Regent Cinema, (not that I went in them but they where always there,) until they destroyed Delles Cafe and the run of shops there... remember May's Bakery almost underneath the footbridge, and Woolies beside the signal box... the old footbridge... you could look right into the box off the footbridge...

The queue of traffic backing up into Hyde Road past Waycotts corner, my old Doctors above their untill it burnt down and they moved to Bishops Place...

woolies to see the Warships & Westerns.
