Morning All, Thought it was time I put in an appearance. All fine here - I back to working from home again. I was going into the office two or three times a week, but in view of the current situation... We're actually quite a lot below the national average here (192/100k locally as opposed to 340/100k nationally). There is quite a pronounced line across Germany, the south and the east being (currently) worse affected than the west and north. I guess we'll have to see how the situation develops. The weather is warm, and if you've been watching the news you'll have seen that Germany has been experiencing some pretty terrible flooding. Thankfully, we are unaffected. The Rhine is relatively high, at the moment but still well within the flood defences. Have a good day everyone...

Morning All, It is a wet and extremely dark morning in this part of the world! It's hard to believe that it is the end of June given the light level this morning. Things are ticking along quite nicely. Plus, Mercedes and I had our first injection at the weekend - so maybe there is a faint chance that things can start returning to some form of normality (whatever that is!) Morning All, It was great to meet so many ERs on Saturday evening, and put faces to names after so many years. Back in the 90s, I wrote some software for the Boeing 777 - don't worry, it wasn't FADEC (Or indeed anything connected with engine control!) An interesting fact about the Boeing 777, is that the diameter of the engines is the same as the fuselage diameter of a 737. That's pretty large stuff that was falling from the sky! For those who commented about my visitor on Saturday evening, that was Parcifal (bottom). His brother Picasso (top) was asleep the whole time! Have a good day everyone...

Morning All, I am back at work this morning after an extended Christmas and New Year break. It was a quiet time - Mum wasn't able to travel (for obvious reasons) and Thomas stayed with his Mum. There was still quite a lot to do around the house, but with everywhere being closed not a lot got done. Strange times! Have a good day everyone...

Morning All, Thought it was about time I dropped by again. Best wishes to everyone, and especially, Chris, BoD and anybody else that I have managed to miss in my quick skip through the previous couple of pages. Weather wise, it's pretty gloomy and occasionally wet. The temperaure is typical for the time of year. We actually had some snow on Tuesday morning. Not a huge amount, but enough to necessitate clearing the pavement. Thankfully we are all healthy. Three pupils in Thomas' year at school were tested positive last week, so the whole year were sent to be tested on Friday. They had to quarantine over the weekend and got their results on Monday. Thankfully, everyone else in the year (including Thomas) were negative. Have a good day everyone...
