  1. So some DIY has put a stop to progress. But I have managed to do something. I bought a battered Scenecraft Highley box for its chimney. It so distinctive and it was easier than making one.

I have struggled with the yellow brick painting and this is my best effort. I'm still not happy with it.

  2. Not a bad race.

Ricardo and Sargent need to go. Not doing the teams any favours.

Ferrari have dropped the wrong driver.

Albons chassis on the way to Grove for repair. Williams won't have a new one until Miami at the earliest.

One thing it has highlighted is the fact that I’m not so supple as I was beneath the boards and my eyesight is shot😀

Welcome to the club! I can't read a vernier or indeed this forum without my glasses.

I've just stumbled across this and ordered one. I spent a fair bit if my teenage years applying black tar varnish and drinking tea in it.

  5. The speed of collapse is unbelievable and one end literally pivots around the support. Fortunately the outer flat decks stayed up.

Trouble is once the forces are out of equilibrium its only going to end badly. Thank goodness it was not during rush hour.

Olly managed to fit a live Mallard through our cat flap

I'd have told him to go and get a Castle instead!

Good news about Marble; I have been frequently checking your post for updates and, like most on here I suspect, the uncertainty has been unbearable.

Thank you. Yes tears of joy tonight compared to yesterday.

  9. A neighbours cat tried to bring a dead rat through the cat flap. The cat wouldn't let go and the rat was so large it wouldn't go through. It was entertaining for a few minutes.
