  1. Sent you a message Phil Regards Paul
  2. John, you can unclip the bogey surround using a small screwdriver under the clip on the rear of each bogey whilst the loco is upside down, the bogey sideframe and bogey axle cover which are one piece will then lift off, the coupler pocket is also on this piece! cheers Paul
  3. Here’s my take on this in N gauge (Burngullow Junction) quite a lot left to do... including the main dries building.. I’ll be following this thread with interest
  4. Here’s my newly received Engineering Train leaving the Parkandillack branch towards St Austell at Burngullow Junction
  5. @Ben A indeed its awaiting the builder of the centre piece to step up
  6. It just occurred to me that I haven’t really posted anything about the layout I’ve been building for the past 18 months.... so maybe I’ll start at where the build is now! Based loosely on Burngullow and the Blackpool clay dries, this 11ft by 3ft N gauge depiction of the area is a fully automated DCC controlled system using Digitrax and Digikeijs hardware i have a resin 3D printer so most of the buildings have been made myself at home Era is early diesel hydraulic to 1979 and first outing will be N Gauge Southeast in 2020.....
  7. Hi Chris, did you contact the designated uk repair agent for Rapidos Pendolinos Sh model making as per instruction manuals? @Ben A Cheers Paul
  8. As Alan says totally unsubstantiated rubbish was unfortunately posted on the N gauge forum. I have deleted the post thread and tracked the user to a vpn line so someone deliberately trying to stir trouble for Dapol unfortunately .....
  9. The clayton would need a total redesign and the tooling for the shark wasnt past block stage so i hear https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=45680.msg575788#msg575788 not a lot left in the pot... someone might buy up the mermaid tools but again they sit too high etc and 2mm wheel sets raise it even more.... as for the 92 not sure that anyone would want to reproduce another verison, that would be commercial suicide?
  10. Definition of rogue trader is in the financial markets theres probably a different name that goes with this level of ineptitude.
  11. To paint or not paint..... Buffers in the 1970's yard...

  12. To paint or not paint..... Buffers in the 1970's yard...

  13. Good idea there Dave, Can you show us the CADS then as you have already had them done, would like to get an idea before I pledge Cheers Paul.
  14. I'd definitely like a rake in N if they become available!. Cheers Paul.
  15. Indeed it has been incredibly quiet, this year has been spent mostly building a new train room in my garage and sound conversions!... We are out in October at the Folkestone MRS on 7/8 October in Leas Cliff Hall. If you are in the area do come and say hello! http://www.folkestone-mrc.com/NEXT%20SHOW%20MENU.html
  16. Yes I ordered from Hattons on Monday when they showed in stock and all mine arrived yesterday.... Never trust pre ordering with Hattons, they did it to me a while back..
  17. Morning all, I posted a short video on Facebook last night of the first EP for the class 92 that has arrived. Unfortunately someone in China sent it in kit form so myself and Ben A built it last night and by just before midnight on the test track (9" curves!!), we had a functioning EP, which is primarily for Ben and Mike to check all the body and under-frame detailing is correct.. Buffers still to fit Here is a short taster for those of you that do not have FaceBook!... Paul.
  18. Hi Dave, Any further movement on the 23's yet please? Cheers Paul.
  19. Nice to see the EWS Beasties making a comeback!...
  20. Hello all, its been very quiet on the Tormouth front for the past few months with life catching up a bit and getting in the modellers way!.. We are out this coming weekend for its second show of the year, this will be at Hornby's Great Electric Trainshow, at the Motor Museum in Gaydon on both Saturday 8th and Sunday the 9th October, you can get a sneak peak of things to be seen in this months Hornby Magazine. The usual motley crew of myself, Ben A, Maurits "Helix" Van De Pol and Acko22 will be present running the layout and hoping to have a good talk to you all whilst it runs itself (we hope ), the main focus for me with Tormouth was always about the automation and the ability to allow the pc to run the timetables automatically, so we can interact with the public and answer any questions you may have relating to the layout build, how the bus works or Revolution Trains forthcoming new products!! Hope to see you there Paul. http://ttp://www.greatelectrictrainshow.com/view_article.asp?ID=10206&pubID=62&t=0&s=4&sO=both&p=1&i=10
  21. I would think at £130 a loco at least £40 is profit per item..... hopefully that will then be re-invested into making the items people refer to as "Vapourware" a reality such as the Baby Deltic & the Clayton?? OR Les are you implying that any profits from a crowdfunded class 92 would be better served invested into making more profitable 00 models ?
  22. Luckily myself and Ben have a vested interest in Horseley Fields which just so happens to be WCML!! We have a running day planned for Friday
  23. I'm hoping it'll be on its home layout next Friday for a bit of a shake down!???
  24. Afternoon all, with Tormouth now complete (is a layout ever complete!!), thought I would post a couple more photos to show you. the layout surround has been completed and day light LED aquarium lights added to allow some light to peculate onto the model!. Magnets have been fettled under the track in the station so goods stock such as milk tankers and fuel for the depot can be deposited and collected whilst giving the viewers some shunting movements to view from the trusty 08 that lurks in the Depot shed. china Clay workings and wood heading North, and a plethora of local and express passenger workings. Lights supplied by a good friend of mine "Maurits71" A little fettling of the computer control being done this evening, then its clean the track hop in the car and we are off to the races at the Weekend!.. Tormouths first outing this year is to this very websites exhibition at Doncaster Race Course this coming weekend do come and say hello if you are passing... We will be running in late 1960's early 1970's guise so a few blue and mostly green locos coupled to maroon stock, maybe the occasional MK1 in BR Corporate livery... You never know D1000 Western Champion may also appear with it's Pullman stock on the "Western-Man" rail-tour. We have a few sound fitted locos for added amusement and the funicular actually now does what it said on the tin when I purchased it....(it goes up and down on its own! That was more confusing to put together than all the DCC components ha ha !!). Photos will follow and once my Nelevator arrives and we convert her to DCC it will be added to the layout and allow for 27 fiddle yard sidings in all! TTFN!
