Happy New year to you and i am sorry to hear of your loss. How long is that taking to lay all them out as i thought it would take an age but you seem to be getting on a quite a rate?

When you look at that task its looks rather a daunting prospect of doing it all individually but it seems like you can get them down pretty fast, assuming of course progress to date has been 18 hours a day . It proves that if you take your time and do things correctly you get a much more rewarding finish.

wow it looks like the original boards are up against the wall, is the plan to maybe have it a bit more central so you can walk all the way round? I'm not sure what sort of width you have there but it looks like quite a stretch.

Your spoiling me to much with those shots of 3 60s in a line. look amazing, they all Hornby? for all those locos did they only ever have the one wash bay?

Im sure you have said before but wherever you got your track design from , would that have a function to tell you how many sleeper? . maybe you could run a completion to guess the amount and whoever is unlucky enough to win gets to do you ballasting .

I would say taking your time is very much paying off. I have read through the thread a couple of times and its great to see how it has evolved over the time. with the base boards down and some track it will really start to feel like you are making progress. We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive. OR taking your time so you don't go down the wrong road Happy new year

Im not even sure id fit that layout in my house . its going to be huge. Have you thought much about what your going to put on them as yet? The inside is looking amazing, what colours did you end up using to weather the inside because that came up really well in the end Keep up the great work

The detail on the photo dated 3rd jan , last one as we look at it is just amazing roof. you have managed to make this model so life like. its incredible. i do alot of looking on forums and u tube and i must say i dont think ive seen something this impressive, its defiantly worth the effort.

Grimley Those videos and photo are just amazing . just brilliant. its the end of another year and you can see now what it is you are trying to achieve although your attention to detail on everything still surprises me. ( i should expect it now) this is certainly one of the best models ive seen on the net. im looking forward to 2016 and seeing it develop even more.
