Yes, the closure of Penhayle Bay was considered sufficiently noteworthy to prompt my first post - which is praise indeed!

I've been following a fairly small number of layouts on rmweb for some years now, Penhayle Bay being one of those, and probably the best of the lot. It is a great layout and I will miss the regular updates. Speaking as someone who has recently moved, and had to take apart a layout entirely, i have found that it does indeed give you the chance to start again and learn from the mistakes of last time - on which basis I'm hoping the updates from son/daughter of Penhayle Bay layout will be even better! Best of luck with the move too.
