Huge thanks for your replies above, extremely helpful! I found this on the Haff website, would it be suitable? (Far left one, €34.96)

Hello all,
I am looking to source a B12 chassis in any livery colour, it just needs to be clean, smooth running and not the very old Margate version, it needs to be the railroad/old B12 model.
Any for sale please PM me,
many thanks,
Nelson
I find it rather odd that the moguls didn't run with bigger tenders, I often thought that when the moguls here in Northern Ireland began to use the 3500 gallon Stanier tender then practice would soon follow to mainland UK, but obviously this didn't happen.
Pardon my ignorance but will any of these new releases be suitable for City Of Carlisle in BR maroon? I would like to consider one as the previous one by Hornby got caught up in thier factory despite and only very few were ever made.
Lovely work Ivor on the railcar. I've just been sitting back watching the progress but it's only fair I comment what I think. You've done superb work and that paint job is just spectacular.
This is just simply amazing, the work that they have done is superb, and there's viewing available on Sunday

Apologise this is late but my father would like to say thanks again for your prompt service and excellent care with the packaging for delivery, it arrived safe and sound. Here's how it looks now.
I asked about that some time ago in another thread and the answer was no, so it looks like its been quietly dropped off the "things to do" list at Hornby.
May I please ask who owned the table with a collection of models displayed? They all look rather exquisite. I'm sorry I could not be there any of the days, the downside of being a stressed student haha.
One thing i would say to keep in mind are handrail knobs, I once got a piece of wire exactly the way I wanted it, only to find out that I couldn't thread the handrail knobs onto the positions they are meant to go in had to start all over again haha.
May I ask a quick question please, why are there bars across the open windows of the carriage? Were they on the real vehicle, or is this an added feature for "safety"?
I also used white spirit until I bought some that turned out to be quite a soapy and slippery substance, now I just stick with the own brand thinners for thinning paint and normal spirits for cleaning.
