G'Day Folks For narrow gauge, 3'6" is narrow enough for me, I'll plump for a SAR T class,4-8-0. Nice engines, rugged and popular, I also like the fact that the tender is bigger than the loco. manna

G'day Folks times been a bit short lately, so not a lot done, but I have managed to get the J6 chassis running, very smooth and quiet, a bit more work on the loco yet, and brakes have been fitted, that's a first for me. manna

G'Day Folks Class 40's great fun to shunt around and drive and full of character, class 47, great loco for any job. but for me a class 46, quiet, comfortable, loved them, but unappreciated. manna

G'Day Folks Great idea with the number changing a 8 to a 3, I to use a lot of 3's and not many 8's, the joys of modelling the GN section of the LNER. I'm going out to see how many 8's I have, plenty I'll be bound........ manna

G'Day Folks The lack of suitable men during the First world war, highlighted the living conditions of many of the poorest people in the UK at the time. Well over a Million men were rejected by the Services as being so unhealthy, purely because of poor living condition, poor wages and poor working conditions. manna -
