I wonder what will happen when the owning consortium’s money and/or interest wanes.
Is the answer a quick slide out of the Premier League, down the divisions and into obscurity?
If all non league clubs were funded by rich kids, philanderers and David Bl00dy Beckham then they would all be on tv 24x7.

There are certain words that make me press the off button. Lorraine Kelly, Boy Bands, Piers Morgan, Trump, Aussie cricketers, Stacey Solomon and many others.
Two new ones have joined the list, Salford City.

Living in Teignmouth I suggest visiting Teignmouth, having a pint at the Ship Inn on the back beach getting the ferry to Shaldon and back (5 min trip).
At Exeter visit the Exeter Quays.
Newton Abbot visit the Cider Bar, one of only 2 in the country, it is a converted farm and something to see and have a pint in.

My GP just called to give me the results of the MRI I had on Thursday. Apparently the meniscuses in my knee are knackered although that's not quite how he put it.
Have to wait a month to see the knee doc and find out what my options are.
Did he say "they are shot to sh1t"?

I'm going to fill the holes with No More Nails, then poke the wall plugs in and let it all set.
But not tonight...
I stood on a radiator and pulled 2 screws of 1 fixing out of the wall. Unable to remove the rad and refix it, I used some Milliput in the holes, pushed in the old plugs and screws ( I couldn't get new plugs in because I couldn't drive the screws in) and it has been rock solid for the last few years.

I have tried to be more organised by putting tools away properly and charging spare batteries for power tools but then of course it is not having exactly the right screw length or appropriate wall plug. For a ceiling curtain track I needed 3 different wall (or ceiling I suppose ) plugs. For one I had to make a hybrid fixing out of a normal plastic plug inserted into a plasterboard fitting (one of those metal conical ones with a very coarse thread.
Hope you find something suitable tomorrow.
Tony
Usually the last of 8 screws in 2 door hinges won't come out or the head is chewed up. The last hole to drill in a wall hits an engineering brick or wanders off course. The job needs a 7.5 mm bit, I have got 6 7mm and 3 8mm, it's 6pm on a Sunday. The battery pack runs out with 2 holes left to drill and the 2nd battery is uncharged.
Ad infinitum.

Afternoon all from Estuary-Land. Good news about Sandy John. Tony, I've never heard of a pub called 'The Olde Dog' and I live only a stones throw from the hospital, though its probable that I knew it by another name. Not that I'm a great pub goer, my nearest pub, the Owl and the Pussy-cat I haven't ever been inside for at least 25 years.
Do you know the Plume of Feathers?

Just got rid of nearly all Dad's woodworking tools and a lathe. They will go to a charity in north Devon who teach Ugandans life skills. Some of the tools were 3rd or 4th hand with previous owners names stamped on them, but still in excellent condition.
I like the sound of a panhandle. Also like the word boondocks but maybe thats not so good.
Quite warm here even with the fridge door left open.
