Hadn't changed them since we moved in, has been on the to-do list. Dirty business indeed. Bolts were completely rusted so spent 30 mins smashing the hinges on both seats with a hammer to weaken them enough to pull out with the claw. Previous least favourite chore was taking out the bins, but that is a joy in comparison.

It can also be annoying when working on said appliance when you find out that the various parts are not bog standard after all.

Agreed! b- a PIG of a job and none of the modern bits fits properly!
