Move to Buxton in wonderful Derbyshire is complete, well all our stuff is in the house. Some work for Mrs B and me to get some semblance of order. The main problem at the moment seems to be locating something you have seen amoungst the boxes but can't remember where?
Still at least the snow has arrived to greet us!

Just had a wonderful 50th birthday despite lockdown thanks to my wife, Jennifer. Got me a lovely train cake and 2 first class tickets for The Jacobite next year!! And yes, i did mention the sleepers were on top of the rails not under!!!

Make a backup of your iPhone on your iCloud, and then when you're setting up your new phone, hold the two phones in close proximity - the new iPhone will then be set up using the iCloud back up of your old phone. Plenty of Youtube tutorials if that makes no sense, it takes literally 2 minutes and is easier than faffing with iTunes.

Anyone tried the new Greggs vegan sausage roll yet.

Because meat is delicious, and in making alternatives there is an element of inclusion for vegans - I say this as someone who has recently gone vegan. Even if you no longer eat meat, you should be able to eat something that looks and tastes similar, especially if its a common food item that you previously enjoyed eating.

Changing the toilet seat is now my least favourite household chore.

Hadn't changed them since we moved in, has been on the to-do list. Dirty business indeed. Bolts were completely rusted so spent 30 mins smashing the hinges on both seats with a hammer to weaken them enough to pull out with the claw. Previous least favourite chore was taking out the bins, but that is a joy in comparison.
