Had a rather joyous, albeit temporary dream last night that Hornby announced an LNER E4 - wishful thinking, or a premonition?

Two brothers. In a van. And then a meteor hit. And they ran as fast as they could.

I have a micro layout and I haven't done anything to it for the best part of a year. Need to pull my finger out and get my mojo back.

Travelled from Ely to Peterborough across the rather frosty Fens this morning, just as the sun was rising. Great part of the world.

He may be cast in bronze, but he's still capable of producing truly golden moments!

This vegan lark is a bit hard - I miss Stilton. On the plus side, feeling the benefits after a couple of weeks now.

Hadn't changed them since we moved in, has been on the to-do list. Dirty business indeed. Bolts were completely rusted so spent 30 mins smashing the hinges on both seats with a hammer to weaken them enough to pull out with the claw. Previous least favourite chore was taking out the bins, but that is a joy in comparison.

Knackered. Been flat out since mid-October, Christmas shut down can't come soon enough.

Two of my Tortoise point motors have gone kaput at the same time. Any suggestions?

It ruins a detailing project when you accidentally damage the loco. Relatively minor, but I can’t help but notice it. So frustrating

I would love one of the Locomotion GNR Atlantics in BR Black. Not for 280 sheets though. Looks like I’m a bit late to the party on that one!

Need to get my mojo back, I’ve done no modelling for 2/3 months now.

It appears my Family Guy reference in one of my posts went over some heads and the post has been removed. Hmm.

Lovely trip to Cromer with my family today. Picked up 55 Years of East Anglian Steam for £6 in a tiny bookshop near the promenade, bonus!
