First 3D printed loco body arrived today (someone elses work bought off Shapeways I might add) and chassis ordered - very impressed and very excited to crack on!

Just found out I'm getting a lump of cashback off my rent. The question now is do I a) be sensible and spend it on life etc. or b) more trains...

Now, I don't profess to be an expert in the design and manufacture of resin loco body kits, far from it, but surely common sense would dictate that you check that the coupling rods on the RTR chassis that you supply the kit with don't come into conflict with a rather thin and important part of the body that you can't really reduce in thickness and really can't remove? Rant over
