I recently purchased a Bachmann Class 03 Shunter, 31-364, from my local shop (The Hobby Shop, Faversham) for £6.46 less than Hattons, and no postage.

Ordered a Bachmann Class 03 over the phone and it was waiting for me when I arrived. Excellent prices and service. Best train shop in the area.

Well, SRman, it looks as though I may have one of the 'rogue' PD1's (I did buy it second hand). Just need to establish the correct colour for a repaint. Thanks Crompton33 for the link, although I would prefer to use Humbrol.

I have an EFE Leyland PD1 in East Kent colours, but they do not look correct. The 'cream' is more white than I remember, so I am planning to repaint. My question is which Humbrol colour should be used to replace the White? The Crimson looks about right, so I am planning to leave as is. Thanks

I am after a T9, remember being pulled by 30117 on an Ian Allen excursion in April 61, but cannot find any issues of GBL available in this area (Dover). Can you buy back issues, if so where from? Cannot find a link on the GBL site.

Dover Priory is my local station, so I find your model very interesting. One question though, why no third rail?
