  1. Many thanks to everyone for their input and information on this wagon, it is very much appreciated. I knew the RM Forum would be able to help me!!! The question for me know is what I should do with it, as I do not model continental railways. Cheers
  2. Good afternoon, I have recently had the following wagon donated to me, and I would like to learn more about it. It is a stunning model. Mant thanks
  3. I have started a long planned build of the CooperCraft Third/First LNER Quad Articulated set, this is my first time build of this type of kit. So apologies for what may be a basic question, but I am struggling to work out how the articulated section is put together. As can be seen from the photo, I have three plastic parts for this area, but I cannot work out how they are fitted. Has anyone got any experience on building this kit, as I would welcome your input. Many thanks
  4. Do you know if these screw link couplings are still available, as the catalogue is from July 2017! Thanks
  5. Thanks Jon, I think I need to do some more research to see if I can find some photos. Cheers Frank
  6. Hi Steve, Many thanks for the reply, that has helped. I think I will need to dig out my close work glasses to fit the cranks! I will post some more photos when I have them done. All the best Frank
  7. Hi Steve, May I first start with a thank you for the photos and words on how you have achieved an excellent standard on the signals you have produced. You have inspired me into having a go. My first attempt was the following simple LNER Upper Quadrant, made from a MSE kit, for my 4mm layout Raineford. Having produced this I have now started on a couple of more complex signals. This is how far I have got, but I would like your views on a couple of questions: - Fitting of the cranks. o Have I got the approach right on how they should be connected? o The trimmer and the cranks are both 3mm in size. So I am struggling to see the best way of how to attached / fit the cranks Thanks Frank
