  1. Thanks, now the question is, just how good can I get it in a design of 6 x 2?! I have to say a Buxton version of Minories, could be entirely possible!
  2. Thank you Sorry, meant it would be an OO gauge layout. I had converted from OO to N gauge after a long absence from model railways. But I’ve got such a large OO collection it seems a shame to see it just sit there.
  3. Hello, Back in the modelling scene, although with N Gauge this time, having come from OO gauge, even though I haven’t touched OO gauge in around 15 years! I would love to recreate a version of Buxton Station & TMD set early 1990’s. I still have a very, very substantial OO collection, including 37, 47’s and 60’s from that era, now I’m back in the model scene, I’d love to put these to some use again I’ve seen a few good track plans but wondering is it possible to squeeze a small end to end/shelf shunting layout of Buxton into a space of 6ft by 2ft. I’ve looked at a few plans, but it seems that because my space required is so small it would be hard to get the best of the area! Any thoughts? Thank you
  4. I looked at that thanks, but I’m looking when it was produced and I’m still not 100% if it’s PCB or not! Usually they are a very good source of info!
  5. Hello, Just a question does anyone know if 371-350Y (60061) is DCC ready? Or is it a DCC PCB job, rather than a 6 pin socket? Thanks.
  6. Hello all, Another one very difficult to come by - 66737 N Gauge GBRf. Would be much appreciated for the collection! If anyone is willing to sell DCC Ready or fitted, let me know, been searching for this one for a while!
  7. Everyone, Just to advise this has been sorted. Excellent customer service (in the end)
  8. They said email is their main method of communication, as they don’t always answer the phone. I have phoned, emailed several times, apart from the reply a few weeks ago saying, “we’re just checking on your order” I’ve heard nothing. The money it’s neither here nor there, I’d just appreciate honesty, the order has been lost, not been processed or they are taking an extremely long time with deliveries at the moment. Just some info would be great.
  9. Yes several times, nothing at all. I wonder if I email from a different email?
  10. Good morning I wouldn’t usually post publicly about something like this, but it’s my last resort. I placed an order with Osborns models on the 23rd November, for some reason the payment came out twice, but only one order confirmation, so I know I didn’t order two by mistake. I emailed them to query this and they replied on the 28th Nov saying they’ll look into it. We’re now on 15th Dec, have emailed since but heard nothing back. At this point I’m not even bothered about the money, I’d just like to receive the model, I bought, even in the unlikely event I get two of them! Anyone else with dealings with Osborns, they seem like a really reputable company, as I’ve ordered before. But they just seem to have ignored this one.
  11. Perfect, thanks. I’m new to DCC, it’s a bit daunting and confusing but from what I’ve experienced so far 100% worth it! Thanks for the advice.
  12. Hello, Been searching for one of these now for a while, missed out on a eBay sale. Regional Railways N Gauge Dapol 122 (55000) DCC fitted would be great but certainly not an issue if not. Thanks.
  13. Great, so I’d need something like this then? https://www.hattons.co.uk/18556/lenz_digital_10311_02_6_pin_2_function_2_sided_0_5_0_8a_silver_mini_decoder/stockdetail Thanks for the quick reply! And sorry for posting in the wrong forum bit, didn’t see the dedicated DCC section.
  14. Hello First post! Getting back into modelling after over 15 years, I’ve gone from analogue OO to DCC ‘N’ gauge! Just a question; I’ve purchased the following (not from Hattons) https://www.hattons.co.uk/31844/dapol_nd114b_class_153_dmu_153377_in_regional_railways_livery_motorised_/stockdetail Now it’s says DCC ready but requires a 6 pin socket what exactly is required, does it need a socket and decoder? I’ve just ordered this, is this correct? Is it quite easy to insert? https://www.dccconcepts.com/product/decoder-harness-zen-6-pin-plug-nem651-6-pin-socket-3-pack/ Thanks for the help!
