  1. A couple of my N Gauge locos weathered, I think any item on a model railway looks at it best slightly weathered, a skill I'm still very much learning, but at the same time very much enjoying :) All the best Matt :)
  2. Recently completed one of the new shake and bake easy build points for Wayne at finetrax, a really nice simple product to put together, and one I feel is really going to open up finer track for us n gauge modellers https://youtu.be/ibQGfNXOj30 Have made a video to show just how simple it is, if I can do it anyone can All the best Matt
  3. Nick that's quite the work of art, superb work :)
  4. Might be nice if they cracked on with the N gauge bulleids first lol Matt
  5. Managed to get a few hours at the work bench over the past week, and had a go at renumbering my first loco, fiddly in N gauge but very satisfying knowing I'm now able to do this, and can start making the layout a lot more personalised 31817 a Redhill loco, perfect for the line I'm modelling on the Reading to Redhill line, then of course popped it though the weathering shop. Don't worry Tony it'll be fitted with discs and a crew All the best Matt
  6. Hugely dissapointing to see its not dcc ready, I've managed to do one of the original batch but it certainly wasn't an enjoyable process, and not one I fancy going through a again, shame as I'd have liked another one, oh well, hopefully it sells well for them All the best Matt

  11. Superb modelling buddy loving the attention to detail, although I'd probably look at buying shares in cornflakes with the amount of boxes you must get through haha All the best Matt

  16. It'll eventually run on the Finetrax track if that counts lol
  17. Nearly finished my farish 5mt, 73082, went for a fairly grubby but still cared for look, still discs, crew and a sound chip to fit, but kept me quiet for a little while, amazing what a difference the scale wheels and adding a few bits does to busy up that front end All the best Matt
  18. First Post in this thread but thought I'd just show a pic of my Graham Farish Standard 5MT 73082 Camelot, went for a work stained look and fairly happy with it, discs and crew to be added after I've added the sound chip and speaker into the tender Thank you Tony for the inspirational posts and everyone else who contributes it really does show what an amazing field of talent we have here on rmweb All the best Matt
  19. I know it's hugely unlikely but something in N Gauge would be nice Matt
  20. Superb to see this one still going strong Nigel the hymek looks right at home there All The best Matt
  21. Wishing you all the success with this one Wayne, putting another order in after Christmas for my n gauge track for my scenic section
  22. Popped into today to the shop and a fair amount of the railway books have now gone, be very sad when it does finally close, probably my last visit before they close, wished the staff well
  23. Very much a late bloomer to the N gauge scene, but it was the N class mogul and the standard 4 tank that made my mind up. My uncle was heavily into N but as an 00 modeller I never really took my notice, but these two models blew my mind, from that day I sold the majority of my stuff and started on my journey into N gauge. We even went down to kernow that day and I picked myself up a standard 4 tank, two Bulleid coaches and a cct van. The rest is history as they say. No making some progress on a reading to Redhill themed layout
