  1. Yes. And renumbering the duplicates is a right royal PITA. The great thing about multi packs is the variation in running numbers.
  2. RMweb is now, for all intents and purposes, unusable.

RMweb works pretty well on a desktop computer, but I've found that it's painfully slow on a tablet unless you request the desktop site be served. Are the problems due to tablet formatting code?

      The Stationmaster

Seems to work perfectly well on the Mac but at times it is very slow although that does seem to vary considerably according to which part of the forum you are looking at - layout topics going really fast, r-t-r threads creeping along.   I wonder if that sort of thing tells a story?

I have kept away for a while hoping things would get better. Today I have had topic pages load in 2 seconds while a custom activity stream took 39 seconds. Perhaps the delays will let me post better things; there is plenty of time to ponder what to write.

  3. I can't add anything more than agree with Dave and Mikkel. Although, speaking from a position of abject ignorance, I can't help but feel the rotation should be slower.
  4. My only concern is that they get the Maunsell green right. I'd hate for it to clash too badly with the rest of my Hornmann/Bachby SR fleet.
  5. Yep. Along with the Class 30 (electric) that's the only loco on my wishlist.
  6. @No Decorum Another of your sigs bites the dust!
  7. That's not what it states though, is it? The screengrab states tax inc. So, error somewhere. Anyway, back to bitchin' about the livery errors...
  8. The announcement does state that some errors have been identified and subject to correction. But not what they are.
  9. Ummm, nope: And, although I'm in Switzerland, so tax would be deducted at RoS's end, I'm not logged into my account. Spooky!
  10. There's a compact and bijou cluette in the announcement:
  11. Just one, not-so-minor point, Oliver. I think that the pricing on RoS is misleading. I take this to mean £166 of which a £30 deposit is required, not £166 PLUS an ADDITIONAL £30 deposit. Perhaps it's just me, but it could be more transparent.
  12. This looks far more imposing than the D Class! According to SEMG, 1749 was rebuilt 1921 by Beyer Peacock, and 1741 was rebuilt in 1927 at Ashford. Decisions, decisions. SWMBO would kill me for either one of them, so is it a case of in for a penny, in for a pound?
  13. Agreed. I wouldn't buy them without more research. But they remind me of my childhood growing up in Folkestone.
  14. From that photo, I can see how it got that name!
  15. Those SER buildings look really rather good. I could be tempted…
  16. In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s already here.
  17. The only thing of even passing interest to me is Terrier Martello, but not for the additional palava of club membership. This is not a bad thing though. I’ve been getting ‘the look’ from the CFO.
  18. I could have a use for the Maunsell diesel shunter, but not the Bulleid. As for Ivor, a childhood favourite of mine. But best left to the quirky Smallfilms IMO. Things like that rarely translate well.
  19. Best Christmas card pic ever! Merry Christmas, and a Happy New year to you and the boys!
  20. From my limited researches, and the fact that @Graham_Muz hasn't mentioned in on his blog, I'm going to assume that I can save 50-odd of your folding Betty portraits.
  21. Would these have seen SR metas in the late '30s/pre-war? And, if so, in what guise?
  22. Green bogies in winter? Yep, it’s the common cold season. IGMC
  23. And the third paragraph: “Snap one up” is a tad unfortunate in light of the damages shown here.
