The last time CTMK asked me to make her a cup of tea, she requested that I allow the tea bag 'to become acquainted with the hot water'. What can she have meant?

Running in. More running in. And then a bit more running in after that.

Pretty sure we have an unwelcome visitor in the house and whilst I am not showing any effects from it so far it will only be a matter of time.
Front door will be out of use for a couple of weeks but business as usual in the old office for the time being.

Another round of applause, waving to all the neighbours to show that we're alive and kicking!

I have so far managed to not spend the years modelling budget on a painting, only just however.

I just dropped a tender handrail and heard it go "ping, ping, ping" on the tiled floor. It's nowhere to be found. What seemed like a great idea last night is now tainted with a sense of loss and disappointment...

Just had yet another call from Eon to fit a smart meter. Found it difficult not to lose my rag, but just held on!

Dan....there’s a thread on the new Hornby R 3605 TTS to the effect that the forum member concerned cannot run it on analogue dc only at all,let alone without sound.....which I believe it should do.....without removing the TTS module.
Have you experienced any identical problems with any of your stock .I’m assuming you don’t remove before selling on ?
Regards,Ian.

Every Welshman will sleep happy in his bed tonight, drunk or sober.Funny though that almost feral tribalism surrounding this fixture every year.Last night BBC showed film of the 1953 Wales victory ( the last ) over the All Blacks to rev up the atmosphere for today’s match. With much pride I turned to my wife to say...”I was there”... as an eleven year old luck enough to get tickets.
The winning try was by winger Ken Jones ,following a cross kick by R.C.C ( Clem ) Thomas.
Happy days!

I have just had what is possibly the most putrid cup of on-train tea I have ever had, courtesy of CrossCountry Trains.

Principally on my mind is how to get rid of the clutter on this page. I hadn’t got status updates etc on the old page, and on an iPad it makes the page horribly crowded. I’ll come back in a few days when lots of things may be clearer than now.

I can honestly say never let me go is the most pointless and depressing book on the whole English course...
