  1. quote: '...upgrading my transmitter to something with more sensitivity and adjustment, whilst I dislike the idea of the transmitter being 4 times the size of the vehicle...' Your remarks reminded me of a thread in a German forum >> http://www.mikromodellbau-forum.de/t3930f5-D-Druck-Frontlader-Unimog-Sender.html - don't panic 'Google Translate' is your friend, 'DeepL' is even better - There is a description of an Unimog with a self built transmitter using a Deltang Tx2. The instructions are pretty much self-explaining and on page 4 post #49 there is a full description of how to build a '2-gear system' making the throttle into a much more sensitve one. For a genius like you it should not be difficult to design a case for the transmitter yourself! And the size: Best, Eduard
  2. Geoff, once again, a phantastic achievement! Could you please give us some hints (and links) to the camera, receiver et al... Maybe one or two more photos of the Atkinson would be great, not only the camera but also the steering gear and its servo! I take it that the new, bigger vehicle will be a period vehicle, or?! Greets from Austria, Eduard
  3. I have been to the show today, was surprised and amazed by the stand of FERRO-TRAIN from Vienna\Austria. A stand full of Austrian Narrow Gauge models in HOe and their range of international trams in H0. Treated myself to a 'Starter kit' of their own rack railway for a very good price! They have got lots of models with them, go and have a look at the fine trackside details, superb.... Great of them to come such a long way!
  4. Geoff, great to see that you are back to the workshop and making progress! Just a thought - might it be possible, whilst you are amending the design, to split the two components and offer the servo as an 'extra'?! What a design!! Greets from Austria
  5. Geoff, congratulations, I think you've got a winner here! Would it be too much asking for a *.pdf about this steering\drive\gear box arrangement once it is finished - with all the motor specs, the specs for the gears and everything else. Will you be offering the 3D print to us mere mortals here? Greets from Austria, Edward
