  1. Ian, Having been part of the project team who built the car park it is good to see a photo of it now it is complete - I must find an excuse to go back and have a butchers at it. I am really impressed by the level of detail of your model and the fact that it captures the feel of the station so well. Looking at your other photos I am glad I model the period before DB Schenker Red and the Class 70 came along!
  2. Gary, Very impressive work, I particularily like the suspension detail would be a challenge to replicate that in N gauge. Matt
  3. Gary, Very impressive work there, great attention to detail. I can imagine that space is a little too restricted for a motor. Superb model. A static model could be motorised by hiding the motors between the bogie side frames! Matt
  4. Gary, the crane looks good, just need to motorise it!! I think the optical car is a good model, much prefer the serco red/ grey colour for the support stock and will look at getting one for my n gauge layout which is roughly set between 2000and 2004. How about one these http://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/plassercrane Matt
  5. Hi david, Thanks for the info. Did you resolve how to glaze the cab of the excavator? Matt
  6. David, Your work on this thread is fantastic and every big boys dream. The road rail excavator looks very good but does not look quite right, have you based it on a prototype as most of the ones i have worked with come have smaller arms. Not sure about the rules for posting a link but a search using a well known internet search engine turns up many pictures of smaller road rail machines. Hope this helps Matt
