How are you supposed to cope with a possible redundancy, especially after almost 28 years. Meantime, your employers still want future plans & projections... baffling!

It's a hard one. I was made redundant at end om March 2013 after 28 years with the civil service. It was quite a shock as I thought that I had a career for life. Only the senior managers in my office remained and the jobs my colleagues and I were doing were still to be done but were given to temps. That position remains to this day.
