Thanks for the heads up - it looks like (some/all) retailers didn’t get my email about the N gauge Cartic4s (and N gauge Caroline). We’re working with retailers (and the factory) to make sure that we can supply them. cheers Mike

As today’s newsletter says, for practical reasons our order book will be open for a few days (we rarely close it straight on the deadline) so at least until Wednesday. We will be asking retailers to give us final numbers by Friday. cheers Mike

We don’t sell models that our retailers have when the models have arrived. I’m not sure if any of our retailers still have stock (I suspect the Alcan branded versions will go most quickly as they were the most popular versions) - it might be worth trying some of our retailers without e-commerce websites or that might not have listed them yet. I’d try Trains4U, Craft Hobbies in Barrow, TTC or Coastal DCC (in no particular order!). cheers Mike

The early 321/3s are different (small and medium windows behind the DTCO cab) to the later 321/3s and /4s. Our model's starting point is the 321/4 which has two medium sized windows behind the DTSO (same as both DTSO on a 320 and 321/9) and a small and large window behind the cab on the DTCO. The 322s were unique in having a medium then small window on the DTCO (ie opposite way round to a 321/3). As a minimum there will be NSE, LM, Saltire and SPT orange liveries. We hope to be able to offer more! Cheers Mike

Yes, the couplers work between units so you can couple up 2 or 3 car 175s (or 5 car 180s!). cheers Mike

Yes, the onboard diesel charges the batteries though I guess not as effectively as having an onshore 3 phase power supply!

Indeed - we’ve been trying to with new models to find good (easy!) places for decoders to be fitted without the need to remove bodies. On the 175/180 the decoder goes under one of the air con roof pods. cheers Mike

As per the note at the bottom of the email you received - if you paid a balance then that dispatch email is automatically generated (we can’t change that unfortunately unless we remove the deposit system) when you pay a balance but the order is sent when the other “half” of the order ie the balance is marked as despatched. I’ve not had chance to reply to your email as I’ve been at Rails all day but the the invoices are due when they’re generated and obviously the quicker they’re paid then the quicker you get your models! We don’t have a set payment date but we will send a couple of reminders in due course if balances aren’t paid. cheers Mike

Do you mean retailers or direct sales? All retailer orders have been despatched (though I think a couple sent last week are in transit). All fully paid direct orders went a couple of weeks back. Cheers Mike
