  1. Very easy, they are pliable plastic and I just straightened them Dave
  2. It runs very smoothly, DCC only of course, whoever set up the CV's did an excellent job. The wheels are well aligned too, nowhere near as much oscillation/rocking side to side as a Hornby Castle etc. I couldn't be happier with it. jonhall, as best as I can measure it's 274 to 275mm long on the straight section of track, tender coupling "at rest" for straight ahead, from buffer head to buffer head. The tender coupling has slots that look like seagulls wings, just like a Keen Systems close coupler, which to me looks like it will lengthen the drawbar by upto 4mm on a tight curve, 2mm movement each on the tender and loco. Dave
  3. Apparently, according to the spec sheet, F8 is a "Toilet pipe discharge" if anyone's interested I can record it tomorrow and post that along with any other requests...... Dave
  4. Thank you for the suggestion AY Mod I have worked out how to upload my file to Youtube, link below Cheers Dave
  5. Hi all Recorded a couple of minutes running this morning straight out of the box. Its from a Webcam connected to my Laptop as the files get too large to move around from device to device for me. My ECoS found the loco right away and added it, you should see start up, move off in reverse, stop then forward up to speed step 100 then back to rest; Will upload on YouTube link later today Hope this helps Dave
  6. I took a few pictures of everything that came in the box, except the surprise item, pictures below. To get a close up of the extras bag I put it on a blank part of one of the inserts. Will set it up on the rolling road tomorrow morning and take a video, its the full sound version so looking forward to hearing it in person Cheers Dave
  7. My GT3 arrived safe and sound in South West Ontario Canada this morning, all I can say is it was WELL worth the wait, the model is stunning. There's also an extra item included along with the detail pack, a pleasant surprise, I won't spoil that by mentioned it. KR Models are to be congratulated on pushing on through all the obstacles, and occasional (lol) criticism, and delivering a stunning model. Looking forward to the Fell and eventually the Leader. Cheers Dave
  8. Hi Jack I have one of these, its brand new and not started, and you can have it for 15 pounds plus UK postage. Its here with me in Canada but I can send it over to the UK with my next batch of DCC items to a friend in Dorset early in the New Year then he can post it to you at cost. If that works let me know and send me your direct email. Cheers Dave
  9. Here are the instructions for the Clerestory if you don't have them already. Cheers Dave Woodstock Ontario
  10. Hi Dave No not built yet, focusing on the layout right now.... The bogies are Dean 6' 4", not too easy to get in white metal anymore, mine were from 247 Developments before they dropped all their coach parts. I have seen Hornby Clerestory bogies, the 8' 6" ones "shortened" as per the Bettabitz coach sides recommendations and there's also some in 3D printed plastic on Shapeways site, with or without foot-boards. GWR Dean 6'4" Bogie Hornby Fit MADE BY Stafford Road Model Works Hope that helps David Holmes Woodstock, ON Canada
  11. Hi Dave I managed to get a set of scanned instructions for the etches (I have two sets) and a diagram a few years ago, NOT from Peter K I might add.......... I have attached scans for you, I couldn't find anything in any of the usual reference books Cheers Dave
