I like the painted version, the colour is so vibrant. How did you come up with idea? Oh but wait, I think it would look better if you used coloured filaments. That would be more natural than rendering them some paint. I used 3D2print.net ABS and PLA filaments in different colours, so far, the outcome is very impressive.

So far, it’s great. Just stick to your original design and everything will be fine Wild Biar Fell. I bet you used ABS filaments. It’s stronger than other filaments materials, right? What was your approximate temperature setting for this project? I know, it’s not easy to make any fixed recommend temperature as printers do have individual characteristics so the temperature is only a guideline.
