  1. DVLA; 6 months I've been waiting for my renewed licence. Can't even update my address details despite having moved home.

Sort it out people, this has gone on too long!

Ironically, the licence arrived the day after I posted this. Now I need to change the address details!

I still appear to have a previous one around. I may send this and hope they don't notice as I'm not going through that faff again. Mainly because I need to regularly present it at work!

  2. Just ruminating, but would knocking out the gears to the 1st and second axles on a DJM Austerity remove the cogging issue by letting one axle and the rods do all the work?

      Not tried that, Mick.

I have three of the damn things to sort out now.

Well, they seemed a good idea at the time...

This has been informative gents; thanks for all suggestions including the cynical ones. :D

I think it’s the RT option then and guess a Loadhauler and Mashima or whatever substitute is best.

If I remember right Markits do suitable wheels as well.

Yeah. Just kite flying as to the possibilities.

I like the model but that drive set up always seemed illogical to me when you already had a natural means of transmission linking the drive wheels already.

  8. I can't believe the accumulations of crap and unfinished projects that litter what is colloquially known as Max Stafford's Kennel. I feel a purge may be required for mental health reasons!
