Well, I got three in OK-ish.

Psyching myself up for another today! ;-)

    3. Horsetan

      Horsetan

Were the bad heids caused by modelling?

      All sorts mate. All sorts!

  2. AAAHGGGH! FFS! HORNBLOCKS! Stick to rigid, folks, life’s too short for this faff!

I suspect that if you can`t fit hornblocks you are unlikely to be able to lay or build tip-top track......

      Mad McCann

      I guess I’m screwed then...

I've never regretted going down the 7mm route, even better now with all the rtr stuff now available. Much easier to build if you have sausage fingers like me....

  3. How quickly one side of a vinyl LP goes. They seemed to last longer when I was in my 20s...

Gadening time definitely drawing near - took herself out to buy some seeds today. All she needs to do now is dig the veg patch and get sowing.

I have, but the dug has the courtesy to go away from the hoose to do her business...

  5. Anybody wanting some weathering done? I'm dead good and I'm cheap! ;-)

You are more than 'dead good' Dave you're work is professional and if anyone wants images of same pm me and Ill be happy to oblige.

I might add you are amongst the most reasonable out there too..probably too cheap and this may put customers off but believe me the final finish is professional.

  6. For all the excellence of Bachmann’s stuff, their electrically conductive, short axle LMS bogies are by far the most crap thing the Barwell boys have ever done.Sorry guys!

There all doing it now - even Oxford Rail (in anticipation of lighting that they didn't fit anyway) Mind you at least Bachmann get the wheel diameter and the underframe length correct.... :) The bogies would have worked okay if they had retained the close-coupling arrangement of the B4's but added in a rather "slack" end to the LMS bogies (P4/EM modellers mileage may vary) ;)

Get your order into MJT Dave (the dog) not Dave (the Buffer) :)

In the eyes of the BBC et al the curlers are only ever Scottish if they lose, always British if they win. Usual story....

    3. 60159

      60159

Dave DCC Concepts do a simple reamer set or Knowle Wagon works do a brass bearing tool.

  16. Two more locos given FS bogie/pony wheels and the Sentinel returned to OO. Not a wasted evening then!
