  1. Oh dear. How unfortunate. (Snigger snigger, laff laff, fall about.)
  2. Have a look at the link I posted above, and have a go at working your way through testing and dismantling your dud t/t, it may require a new pcb or motor to bring it back to life, but at the price of these things its worth spending a bit of time on it. Regards.
  3. As I said the 2 yellow wires are only from the track, so don't affect the motor. There are three coloured wires from the switch to the turntable to make it work, and a black and white from the switch to the transformer for power. If you can hear clicking when you move the switch the solenoid in the deck is working, so you have power. Either the motor is stuck or there is another problem. Have a look at this:- http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/134969-fleischmann-6152c-turntable-stopped-working/
  4. From memory the 2 yellow wires are the deck track feeds, there are 3 different coloured wires to operate the deck motor.
  5. Hamilton beat Alonso in his first year, zero experience versus two world championships, with Alonso bleating "tell him to stop it Mr Dennis, it's not fair", or words to that effect.
  6. SMILLEY, ANGREE, CONFUSED, FRIENDLY ETC. Nope, still can't seem to make them appear. (Laugh now, you bu**ers).
  7. Just digressing from the subject for a mo, whenever I post from my tablet and try to insert a grinning emoji thingy, it comes up on my typing, but dissappears when the actual post appears. Can make my postings seem a bit abrupt, especially if some of the readers are a bit humourously challenged and need a pointer.
  8. Oi! Where's the link? What do we pay you for?
  9. Hello again. I already have 2 with cab and 1 without, if this is a without cab version pm me with details to see if you can tempt me. Regards.
  10. It works now. Panic over. Tell A P to turn round and go home.
  11. The link doesn't work for me. Send for Andrew P.
  12. Hello Andyram. I'm your visitor from Saturday that called on the way back from Crich. Now you know how to contact me when you're ready to sell me the 2 sound Jinties for £100 each. Best of luck with your enterprise, you'll need it with punters like me. Regards.
  13. Eyup Andy, can we have a bit less narrative with your links? (I'm not a wind-up merchant, honest).
  14. Andrew P is my main source of F1 news. Keep posting the links please.
  15. You do not change CV 29 to 1, you read the current value of CV 29 and add 1 to it, i.e. if it is currently set to 8 then change it to 9.
  16. If you're having problems with warning lights that keep coming on, do what us old-schoolers do. Take the bulbs out of the lights.
  17. Is it similar to conjecture then?
  18. What's conjuncture and how do you create it? I'm only average at modelling but I'll give it a go.
  19. I think I typed micro 4 pin connectors into eBay some years ago, they came from China for pennies and were the same as Bachmann/Hornby ones though the wiring is slightly thicker. I bought a bunch and I think I have fitted over 30 locos with them.
  20. That doesn't exactly sound fair to me. The bloke who owned the team and was spending his money when the credits were earned should be paid for them, he would have suffered the losses so he should make the gains, whether people are for or against him in his current predicament.
  21. I'll give you £50 for the other 2, pay the postage, and buy you a decoder for yours. You can't say fairer than that!
  22. Whilst I appreciate all the theories and explanations put forward, this glass must be some 20 - 30 years old, and hadn't been subjected to cooling, rapid or otherwise. However, since it seems to happen occasionally for whatever reason known or not known then I am content in the knowledge that I have not been singled out by the Powers of Darkness. Thanks to all who replied.
  23. It was just an ordinary glass, it's been around that long I don't remember where or when it came from, and heat cannot be a factor. My kitchen doesn't get direct sun, it wasn't a hot day today, it wasn't washed in hot water, and it had been where it lives for hours. It'll just have to go down as "one of those things".
  24. Can't see it being heat, it had only been rinsed out in cold water last time it was used, and that was about 4 hours before it went bang.
