  1. Ahhhh gwan gwan gwan gwan Sorry couldn't resist 🤣 Hoping to see you guys Sunday 👍
  2. You said you had a colleague who has an extensive setup ? If they live near you then I would start there. They will almost certainly have enough knowledge/ skills to get your set, up and running. They may even have a spare controller or five kicking about ( yes many of us do tend to keep far more 'stuff' than we need ! ) You never know it could be the start of a mutual interest friendship 😃 WARNING !!! model railways can be addictive. . . Leading to excessive expenditure ( so SWMBO says), Hoarding and many many hours lost tinkering Enjoy !!!
  3. I DID receive both as McC mentions and just Authenticated as requested, but I then went on and paid it off anyway, just in case ! 😁 ( didn't want to inadvertently miss out 🙀
  4. D6703 arrived safely, well packaged, no damage at all. She's a beut! The Ltd edition certificate signed by all the Accura team was a nice additional surprise 🙃 Very happy bunny here, SWMBO Can stop asking when my Birthday present from May, is going to arive Just about to test run on the rolling road. Then fit Accuras pre programmed decoder 👍
  5. I know space may have been an issue but I do think maybe a trick was missed ? If the Making tracks layout could have been moved out one row to the edge and then the first balcony ( which I think had a bar area to the rear ?) Made over for catering/ tea coffee supply with some seating available, keeping the Balcony edge free for viewing, This would have made a great place to see the Making tracks layout and also eased congestion at track level. Probably plenty of reasons why not, but I enjoyed looking at the whole thing from above.
  6. I think its worth remembering Just how MUCH space in the main hall the Making Tracks layout took up. Could this account for record numbers of visitors and also some traders and layouts being accomodated in a side room and on balconies ? Making tracks is probably a one off so next year may not be QUITE so busy ? Just a thought. Edit to Add, MT certainly atracted me to make a special trip down from Scotland to a venue I otherwise would probably never have visited
  7. The man himself and a few views of the layout. In the view from the top balcony I still struggled to fit the whole thing in !
  8. When you DO sign up just make sure you double read everything and follow ALL the steps, and THEN when it doesn't work drop @AY Mod a message and he will tell you what you DIDN'T do and fix it for you 😉
  9. @Derekstuart Click on page one of this very topic and click on the big black link in @AY Mod s first post.
  10. Just don't Google Next 18 plus. . . . 😳 ok..ok. YES I DID. . . it was RESEARCH. . . .🤣
  11. Iain just double checking. . I take it you meant to say due to drop 32 bit ?
  12. Darn wish you hadn't posted that ! Resisted these up to now. Resistance is futile! D6703 DCC ready ordered lol
  13. Maybe the answer is one chain. . . Fastened between the pair of you ! 🤣
  14. I think all you should be expected to do is say " our modern motors may not survive voltage spikes above 'X' in either AC or DC - DC or DCC so please make sure your power supply/ controller is suitable ". It's then up to the customer to check their own equipment and make sure it is suitable or accept the risk ?
  15. @AY Mod sorry Andy, above screenshots taken on a Samsung tablet in landscape mode. Some wierdness going on when I tried to edit that post to add the information though ? Try editing yours and if no wierdnes ill post more on what I'm seeing
  16. Another +1 for the full fat (black) Z21 system. I was able to try out various systems at the Scottish model rail show before buying, didn't find the likes of the Nce very intuitive but as soon as I tried the Z21 with an Android touch screen I was hooked ( The layout operator got me to download the app to my phone, emailed me across a guest Roster and I was up and running my own touchscreen throttle in minutes with simple pictoral loco selection, slide throttle and relevant function buttons in place for the selected loco.) I was convinced, placed an order with Scograil and 24 hours later was the proud owner at a very competitive price of my own system. No connection to Scograil, just a very satisfied customer ( They have a deal on again now at a very good price) I've found it a great system. My grandkids found it very easy to use and I particularly like the fact I can set up a Throttle on a device for them with a custom roster that means they can ONLY run the locos I want them to run, AND I can monitor the locos they are running on my Device and take control at any time to stop 'deliberate' accidents ! Highly recommended
  17. Did you ? Did you ?? Go on please tell me you did. 👨‍🌾
  18. @Accurascale Fran Great to catch up at Warley Fran and yes after seeing the samples in the flesh I've finally got round to placing my order 🤪 Do you intend doing the pre programmed decoders for these as you did for the Deltic ? I bought one for my second non sound Deltic and thought it great value for money, saving me the faff of programming one myself with all the various options ! If you are, will they be available for pre order as well ? Cheers
  19. @AY Mod Andy just for clarification is the Cryptocurrency Ad A- one put in by you ( doubtful as you would be reporting yourself) B- one put in by Warner Bros ( I would be very surprised) C- one put in by the google algorithm ( most probable) OR X ( files - we've been hacked by Aliens ! )
