  4. Hi Daniel, The MRH Acrylic painting guide has a cross reference table of the old Floquil Colours to the Vallejo paints. Its a free download if you sign up at the site (basically - just join the forum). I'm not a CSX modeller so I can't say for sure that the Floquil CSX colors are for that particular scheme. In your picture the paint does look a bit faded, particularly the yellow. Hope this helps Andrew

  11. Hi John, No, trap/catch points are not used in the Canada or the US. We use "derails". There are a few types and are usually located beyond the clearance point (so a derailed car wouldn't foul the points when it came to rest). Here 's a picture of one from the Nolan Company.
