  1. Hi all, I hope you are all ok? Does anyone have either of the above models for sale in OO Gauge? If you do I will consider any condition for both models. Message me with information and details if you have one or both of these models for sale. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  2. Hi Fran, Thank you for confirming that 37403 is part of the third run of Class 37s. It’s good to know that this run will be arriving in Q4 2025, as I had been wondering when they would arrive. Thank you. Kind Regards, Danny.
  3. Hi @McC @Accurascale Fran I hope you are well? I see 37403 has been announced by the SRPS and is due to be delivered in Q4 2025. Is this part of the third run of OO Gauge Class 37s and if so is this when all of the locos in run three will arrive? I ask because I’m trying to plan and budget for most likely more Class 37s from the third run, so I’m just wondering when they will arrive and how long I have to save some money. Also, if 37403 is part of the third run when will the remainder of the third run of locos be announced? Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  4. Hi all, It’s good to see that everyone is pleased with their 56s. I have two on order and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival next week. Just a quick question, I didn’t manage to order my two with the DCC Decoders pre-fitted, so can anyone tell me what DCC Decoders are fitted inside the models and where these can be bought from please? I suspect that only specific Decoders will allow all of the lighting functions to work/function and the model to move. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  5. From what I recall the last batch of OO Gauge Bachmann Class 66s arrived in February 2021, so in a few months time this will be three years ago since we last saw any 66s arrive. With this in mind I think that one of the four newly tooled items announced today will be a new OO Gauge Class 66. Kind Regards, Danny.
  6. This DCC Fitted model is now available for just £100. If anyone is interested send me a message. Kind Regards, Danny.
  7. It would be nice to think that most 37s could justify a production run of however many units seem appropriate. It’s also interesting that whatever the market share is interested in buying the BR numbers and liveries and the more recent and current liveries whether they are modern Freight Operator Class 37 liveries or BR Retro liveries all of these seem to be in demand judging by most numbers and liveries having sold out at Accurascale directly before the models have arrived. In terms of demand for current and ex DRS 37s to be produced maybe I am an exception to some extent in terms of how many I would like to buy of each running number and livery but at the same time I do know of other people that heavily model DRS, so I would say that even excluding myself that DRS liveries of any kind are popular. This is the beauty of the extensive Class 37 tooling that Accurascale have, they can offer most liveries, guises, conditions spanning across different eras, over time providing that demand is there. In the hope that it is then we certainly have plenty of 37s to look forward to that will hopefully make everyone happy. Kind Regards, Danny.
  8. This type of discussion offers an interesting dynamic and I presume is why Accurascale have already said that they will produce most 37s in the coming years. I for example would try and buy most running numbers of the current or ex DRS 37s in at least one guise/condition. In some instances I would even like to buy the same running number more than once in different liveries. By this I mean for example I would like to buy say 37607 in DRS Compass and HN Rail Orange liveries. My reason being that 607 in Compass was a regular hauler of the Network Rail test trains a few years ago and seemed to work these trains more often than other DRS 37/6s. And 607 in its current HN Rail Orange livery because it’s more suitable for the current era having been repainted into this livery in October 2022, it’s also now a Class 37 that’s on hire to Colas to operate Network Rail test trains and it’s the only 37/6 to wear this livery. Furthermore this current livery also offers more combinations to run with other 37s in model form compared to when it wore Compass livery. In just a year 607 in Orange has operated with BR Blue 610, Plain Blue 612, also Orange 405, BR Blue 409 and most of the Colas liveried 37s. The point I’m making is that I’m sure their is demand for plenty of 37s from across all of the different eras and I would even say their would be demand to produce the same running numbers more than once in different liveries, guises and conditions to suit specific eras, as I mention above regarding 607 despite it already been produced in original DRS Blue in the first batch. Kind Regards, Danny.
  9. It’s not until more recently I have learned just how different 59003 is to the rest of the fleet. It’s the only one to have operated in Germany, the only GBRf 59, a different lighting arrangement, it sounds different to the others and I’m sure it has detailing differences compared to the others too. I have some Dapol Yellow JNAs and IOAs so I could run it with those. Whether that’s entirely prototypical or not I’m not sure. Yes he is definitely different, most likely so much more that he probably has more differences than 59003. Rumours are suggesting that there are different ideas as to the future use of 59003, so I guess we will have to wait and see what it gets up to. Kind Regards, Danny.
  10. I know what you mean and I’m tempted to buy it but I also have my eye on 59206 in Freightliner Orange & Black. I probably won’t be able to afford both what with everything else that’s arriving in the first quarter of 2024. So running it light engine regularly is prototypical. That’s good to hear because I wouldn’t necessarily need to have anything to run with it if I do but it. Just looking back at photos and it appears that the full loco was repainted in 2020. The Blue on the bodysides and Orange decals certainly look just as fresh as the cab ends. I wonder if Dapol have incorporated the accurate sounds into the model of 59003? It would be nice. Kind Regards, Danny.
  11. Thank you for confirming that, it’s greatly appreciated. It’s such a coincidence you say that because in todays WNXX update it has confirmed that it has been released from the Works to the sidings near to the station. I can’t believe it’s been in the Works for almost two years since it became damaged at Salisbury. You’re right I bet GBRf are furious that it was used in such a way that damaged it so extensively resulting in it been out of traffic for almost two years. Put it this way when other locos and units have been used as rescue locos for whatever reason/purpose in the past I don’t recall them been so damaged that they have been out of traffic for so long afterwards. They certainly should be paying the bill, especially with it being GBRf’s sole 59 loco and they require it for the Eastleigh engineers trains. Are you still going to buy 59003 in its previous GBRf livery or will you wait to see if Dapol produce it in its current GBRf livery in the future? Thank you. Kind Regards, Danny.
  12. Hi all, Just to ask and confirm is this model just being produced in one livery in OO Gauge? This being the full Europorte livery with roundels on the bodysides and with Europorte logos as worn between circa early 2015 to March/April 2020? I ask because I would prefer to buy it in the revised/updated GBRf livery from when it was repainted in April/May 2020. This livery has the same Blue and Orange base colours but without the Europorte roundels on the ends of the bodysides and without Europorte logos and instead with the double lined GB Railfreight logos. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  13. Thank you for the reply, information and help. It’s greatly appreciated. I will take a look at the appropriate links. Thank you. Kind Regards, Danny.
  14. Hi all, For those of us who can’t attend in person today please could Kernow staff and/or customers who are present today let us know what the new exclusive/limited edition items are that are being unveiled? I will keep an eye with interest for these and I hope the event is a great success. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  15. Haha thanks. I have sold some other items on RMWeb recently. I think it can just take time, especially at the moment when people might not have as much money to spend as they used to. Kind Regards, Danny.
  16. Personally I would have preferred the model to be in its current as preserved condition just because the era that I model isn’t wide enough to accommodate a loco from the 80s, probably not even the 90s. I try to model 2010 onwards, so the last thirteen years or so because I feel this is the time frame for different loco classes, traction, liveries and workings that interest me the most. I understand and can see what you mean when you say that their may not have been the demand for two of the same running number in the same livery with differences to the locos appearance. I also understand that the HTG have to commission something that they think will sell and something that will be broadly welcomed from a particular era. It’s a shame for current image modellers alike myself, but hey we can’t win them all, it’s just out of my era. I hope the people that have pre-ordered the model enjoy it, because it does look brilliant. I haven’t seen an expected delivery date for this model. As it hasn’t arrived with the batch one models and I don’t think it is due to arrive with the remainder of batch one models, maybe it will potentially arrive after that or with the batch two models. Kind Regards, Danny. Thank you for the reply and no worries. It was me that originally started the topic back up again a few days ago as there hadn’t been any posts on this thread for a few months. I was curious about the condition it’s being produced in because had it being in current condition as it is today on the Great Central Railway I was going to enquire to see if any models were still available to pre-order. I was also interested with it being an ex DRS machine and I don’t have any 37 in this guise and condition so in terms of livery it would have been something different in my collection. It’s no problem that it isn’t because I understand that you have to commission a model that you think will sell, and a wider scope of the BR 80s and 90s probably meets that criteria. I hope that the model sells well and I look forward to seeing peoples photos when the model arrives. Thanks again for taking the time to reply and for sharing an insight into the model. Kind Regards, Danny.
  17. Thank you everyone for the replies, information and help, it’s greatly appreciated. I was hoping that the model would be being produced in its most recent 2018/2019 to current 2023 condition. If it had of being I was considering enquiring about pre-ordering with it being an ex DRS machine even though it didn’t work with DRS in this condition or livery I was going to have it parked with other DRS locos as it was when it was been repaired and repainted at Derby RTC, and it is currently on the GCR at where up until recently also ex DRS machine 37605 was in Compass livery until it was removed to be scrapped. For those like me who would have bought the model if it was being produced in its current condition, searching through Flickr photos this evening I have found at least four differences but the current version and 1980s/1990s version when comparing to photos that Accurascale and the HTG have provided. The differences I have spotted are: 1. In its current condition the detailing is painted out on the wheel sets in red and white whereas the condition of the Accurascale model for 1980s/1990s the wheel sets are only painted in black. 2. In its current condition the loco has modern warning flashes on the bodysides, whereas the Accurascale model has the old style/BR warning flashes. 3. In its current condition in at least one place there is a large indent/space between the numbers 37 and 714. On the Accurascale model the indent/space between the running numbers is smaller and less noticeable. 4. On at least one nose end if not both the loco in its current condition doesn’t have the aerials fitted, whereas on both ends of the Accurascale aerials will be present and fitted. With these differences in mind, unless you would like to ignore these differences plus maybe other differences that I am unaware of and haven’t spotted in photos, this model isn’t suitable for 2018/2019 to current 2023 condition. That’s of course you are really knowledgable and confident of making several changes to a model of £170, then potentially maybe it could be changed to reflect the current condition of the loco in reality. For me personally I wouldn’t want to attempt to make these changes on a £170 model. I hope this information is of use to others who are maybe deciding whether this model is appropriate for their era, layout etc. I would like to wish every success to Accurascale and the HTG on the sale of this model, not that it needs it, it looks brilliant. Thank you for the help. Kind Regards, Danny.
  18. Thank you for the reply and information, I really appreciate it. I see what you mean but looking at what I assume is a sample of the model in the end photograph on the link it appears to have the old warning flashes on. Hopefully Accurascale and/or the HTG can clarify. Kind Regards, Danny.
  19. Thank you for the reply, it’s greatly appreciated. I have just clicked on the link and looked at it and I can’t find anywhere where it says what condition it is being produced in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  20. Hi Accurascale and The Heavy Tractor Group, I wonder if you can help me please? The model of 37714 is it being produced in 1980s/1990s condition with the old style warning flashes and any other features it had during this period or current as preserved condition as it is now operating on the Great Central Railway with modern warning flashes and any other features that suit this period? If it’s being produced in its current condition with modern warning flashes I’m considering asking if any models are available to pre-order. Thank you in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  21. I have reduced this set to £280, which is the amount I have in the set. If anyone is interested let me know. Kind Regards, Danny.
  22. I have reduced this set to £310 or you can make an offer if you would like to. If anyone is interested send me a message. Kind Regards, Danny.
  23. Hi Fran, Thank you for the reply and information, it’s greatly appreciated. I was hoping that they would do, but didn’t recall seeing it on the specifications, so I didn’t want to assume. That’s brilliant, because it makes fitting a decoder so much easier. I’ve just remembered, so I will mention this whilst I’m here even though it isn’t the most appropriate thread. I bought a Class 37 decoder from you this week and I think the decoder is the one for the Class 37, it’s just in the description on the website it says it’s for the Class 31. I only knew it was for the Class 37 from reading the reviews that other customers had left. I just thought I would let you know of the error. Thank you. Kind Regards, Danny.
