Very interesting announcement for me as I missed out on the Realtrack 143 models so to be able to get a hold of a new class 143 from EFE is great news But I will want to upgrade my one to sound I believe dc kits legomanbiffo do a sound file for these units i currently have some sound fitted locos with there files which I am really impressed with. Has anyone used the 143 sound file by legomanbiffo in there Realtrack units ? and what’s your do you think about it ?

I have the smallest dcc concepts zen decoder with a lais Kung fu stay alive fitted the problem I have is that the stay alive works ok in one direction if I reverse the loco and cut the power the stay alive kicks in but in the opposite direction? very strange I have tryed a few cv changes anyone else had a similar problem ?

I believe that it’s a wheeltappers file

Like you say it’s says select in the manual but it’s a loksound v5 decoder that’s unrestricted (can be reblown) I confirmed this on my lok programmer

The chassis block is the same as the 6 pin version but the switch to turn the tail lights off is not in the fuel tank anymore as the new next 18 pcb is made to have switchable tail lights operating from the decoder it seems that it designed for a zimo type decoder ,as the lighting arrangement didn’t work on the loksound v5 decoder

I have just received my post office red class 33 and I am pleased with the livery ,but quote me if I am wrong i thought it come with new LED lights as per the advert. Removed the body to find the old bulb arrangement which is ok, but why say it’s got LED,s a little misleading I think
