  5. Thank you , I have a selection of resistors in my ‘come in handy’ box I will try an identify a suitable rated one if not purchase a recommended.
  6. I have recently purchased ‘micro litz wired leads SMD LEDS’ the packaging advised 2.8 - 3.4 V supply , however when applied from 2 X 1.5 v batteries LEDs failed. Supplier now advises supply voltage should be 1.8 - 2.2V . Can someone advise how to reduce voltage . Regards Robert
  7. Picked up on a previous thread , Enquiry : I have recently purchased DCC80 autofrog 3 pack, my question is , 'why can you not connect multiple frog input wires to one frog polarity switch on the basis only one turnout is operated at a time. ' the DCC bus remains common to all .

I have installed 3 way points ( effectively operated by 2 surface mounted motors) my intention is to install routing lights visible from a control panel, as the routing to the 3 ways is dependant on the combination of the 2 point settings, I am not sure of the wiring circuit to achieve indication , i.e. One green, two reds. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Robert

    I have installed 3 way points ( effectively operated by 2 surface mounted motors) my intention is to install routing lights visible from a control panel, as the routing to the 3 ways is dependant on the combination of the 2 point settings, I am not sure of the wiring circuit to achieve indication , i.e. One green, two reds. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Robert
  12. I'm trying to put together a full rake , now that Hornby have released a set of 3 coaches. Does anyone have the actual running numbers of the carriages being used for the Penzance / Paddington night sleeper train.
