  1. Jerry! It's been a pleasure doing business with you! Will take some looking to find someone on par with your skills!
  2. Hiyya Andy! A keen watcher of your work and 31601 is looking immaculate! It's a set I've been after for a long while, just never got around to making a start on it! I model the South West from 1997-2015 loosely so would fit in a treat! Anyway, love your work, keep it up! Jacob
  3. Finished working on these HST powercars for someone. these started off life as VTEC pair from Hornby, I then debranded, denumbered, rebranded and renumbered to LNER 43310 & 43257 "Bounds Green" - the nameplates are still WIP. The powercars then had their chassis detailed, painting some of the smaller details to make them pop out and then giving the whole chassis and roof a weathering. Always happy to take on work like this so if you want your models rejuvenated with a new ID, nameplates or weathering just give me a shout!
  4. Hi Jerry! How did you do the chipped paint effect on the 60s roof? looking really good! J
  5. A great layout and one of my favourite ones to follow! Not managed to see it in the flesh yet mind which is a shame! I'm hoping there's plenty a opportunity to do so! J
  6. Scale Model Scenery kindly produced this item from their white and red versions for me after a brief message on Instagram. Self adhesive hazard tape, seen here applied to some of the FGW fleet based off real life faults seen out and about...
  7. Next up is the FGW HST. First time doing a full rake but going well so far, done the two powercars and 4 coaches so far...
  8. Two more through the works 33108 has had cables painted, detailed front end and then weathered 47814 has had the weathering treatment.
  9. Simple one, 47778 weathered up and then 47745 joined her in getting black TDM cables up front.
  10. EWS Class 60 and OBAs went through the weathering works. 60029 has the plough painted yellow and then a basic diesel weathering
  11. Lovely stuff again there James, the 60s looking the part! Your weathering is sublime! J
  12. 90 is looking top notch! Sorry to hear of your loss though!
  13. Pretty much done, need some more glazing for the front....if anyone has any spare?
  14. Respray attempt #2 Taking Hornbys recent release of 43013 in Intercity livery and turning it into Virgin 43084
  15. Next up for work was a Bachmann Class 37, this one started out life as an early release of 37035 in plain dutch livery with BR arrows and Canton depot plaques. The arrows and plaques were removed along with the numbers and refinished as 37043 in Transrail branded Dutch. Weathering to come...
  16. Next project to revisit was this Class 150/2, I had already debranded the Reggie Rail livery to then add Wessex Trains branding. Revisiting this one I wanted to seal in the transfers but also weathering.
  17. Next up was 150261, this model was a Kernow MRC 150216 but I already had one so changed this ones identify. New front end numbers, 52 & 57 end numbers and of course the Tarka Line branding. Did this a few years ago but my skills were lacking in the airbrush department so revisited it tonight to properly seal in the transfers with Humbrol Satin Cote
  18. Added more colour to the powercars chassis, really shows up that Hornby have put in the detail but just plain black! Then a final photo on the layout, really makes a difference! What's the next project? Who knows!
  19. Just starting this topic to keep a archive of work done to models in the collection, first up is this renumbered HST model. 43097 "Environmental Agency" the numbers need redoing but the chassis is gaining some paint to make it stand out a little
