  1. Double Fairlie 'Livingston Thompson' is service at Glanfa Fach as Quarry Hunslet 'Elidir' pushes some slate wagons into the exchange shed.
  2. Thankyou very much. Given there isn't any wiring or anything to the track as this'll be a photo board it has been a lot quicker to put together than other projects.
  3. Some more work today, it's all still drying but a lighting test and landscaping added. Hopefully capturing the end of steam/run down type air I am aiming for. Still just phone snaps, will do some proper photos when dry and the sun shines.
  4. A bit more today, a pause for a few hours now whilst the rust effects take shape on the water tank.
  5. Can't believe I missed this, that is very kind indeed Jim! Sorry it has taken me so long to thankyou!
  6. As I am still awaiting some items on back order for Port Nadolig and feeling inspired by Statfold I decided to take my MS models out of storage and start a photo box file. So this will purely be a scene for display and photos only by not bad progress for one day.
  7. As other have said I saw this in the flesh at Statfold Barn over the weekend and no photo in this thread, no matter how good, in my opinion does any justice to how wonderful this really looks! A really charming layout that you are instantly convinced is of a real place.
  8. Wasn't expecting that! A really good announcement, will have to resist thought. Might be difficult to though. I imagine the liveries will be the same as the four standard releases in 009 perhaps with an extra one as well. Maybe the dinorwic coal wagon will be in the May 1st announcements for 009.
  9. Sadly no clues to be seen at all during setting up at Statfold tonight. But given location of announcement and the green background in the video link 009 seems a definite doesn't it. Perhaps a James Spooner to finish off the preserved Fairlies or an NG16 as they seem to be popular wants every announcement cycle. Darjeeling 19B as an outside bet but again no doubt would be popular and could be done in partnership with with the 19b society with donations to the boiler fund.
  10. Thank you very much. That's very kind. Hopefully I'll get back to Porth nandolig soon and get some photos of the completed scene outside in the sun.
  11. You've missed the Isle of Wight Steam Railway exclusive of island condition W2 'Yarmouth' in SR Olive Green.
  12. I don't mean the 4000g one, I mean the intermediate 3500g https://www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/6264685050 Although 7808 did run with a 4000g at the end of Steam.
  13. I've got 5 already...isn't that enough... haha 😄 Hoping for a Barcote Manor with the larger tender.
