  1. Not mine, but don't know where else to post this, whilst on the Shropshire Union Canal I went to see Making Tracks 3 and met Pete Waterman, nice chap but was having a right go at the operators trying to get to grips with the technology, presume volunteers not used to running the layout with tablets. Once running it was very good with DCC sound and all signals working.
  2. Good afternoon  - I hope this is in the correct place, but I was wondering if anyone had considered or attempted to convert the new (beautiful!) G5 to a Great Eastern version, please? Such a shame the version was cancelled.

Many thanks and apologies for delay in acknowledging!

  3. Finally got my G5 to add to my fleet of Locos, excellent work by TMC and Bachmann.
  4. 2082 Finally arrived, excellent model, Autocoach needed now, well done TMC/Bachmann.
  5. Is that Richmond, looks exactly as the Ken Hoole book.
  6. Anyone received 35-253Z yet, I paid a few weeks ago, may have to chase them although it does say late June.
  7. Just found this, lovely depiction of something Midland/NER/Hawes line. I only returned in Lockdown to modelling and wanted to use the Peco Bullhead points, if only the Double slip and Medium Radius hadn't been delayed! I had some DC LNER stuff left over from previous but upon reflection should have gone for a more modern look to utilize DCC.
  8. Thanks, I have it apart, needed a major clean up, got it going sporadically but back to square one again. will try another clean up but just think its so worn not worth bothering with.
  9. My NU Cast Sentinel with Tenshodo Motor Bogie has suddenly stooped working, I have seen some where that the Whitemetal Kit is too heavy for the Tenshodos and also the plastic gears break. Any ideas how to open the casing for investigation, there are no visible screws and I don't want to go prising away and break it further!
  10. Probably not up to standards I see on here but a couple of new additions to my Dalby Town Layout, a LLCK and a New 20t Hopper, Still need to sum up the courage to try the Airbrush I got for Christmas for some weathering.
  11. Whilst excellent service from Hattons, their Packaging is ridiculous, 2 Packs of Tiny Signs delivered in a Largish Box with Bubble wrap when a small Jiffy bag would have done, not really Green.
  12. Like making a Slaters kit, go together well, even with my fat fingers! New addition Birdcage Brake.
  13. Planted the Town Street Stone Water Tower with some detail added. Looks OK to me. Did struggle with the castings on this one, had to disguise a couple of the joints in the corners. Still need to get to grips with my photography!
