Earliest railway memories are of days trainspotting with my uncle, at Mangotsfield, eating blackberries off the bush at a convenient point where signals on all 3 sides of the triangle could be seen. I would have been about 4yrs old so 1957-58. A couple of years later I got my 1st  electric trainset for Xmas, and that loco and coaches are still in my posession. There have been various attempts at models along the way, but family life has always interupted progress,  so little has been achieved in the past 30+ years. But in October 2015 a new start on "a cartoon of Helston" was started and progress continues, with my having to learn a lot to catch up!
