  1. haha I am like this with the 0-6-0pt and the halls, kinda the castles, the Colletts....oh dear, 24 locos running and counting hahaha
  2. Wow I was thinking of having some SR locos running around my GWR line but now I think I need a school after the schooling I'm on my phone so had to skip some of the more photo heavy pages till I get home but wow this is some cool stuff
  3. Corb, the prairie (with every other gwr loco I've seen) has it's front vacuum pipe go off to the left of the buffer beam. Not straight down, maybe it's just me that wants to models this detail? But it is a thing I notice lol
  4. They're all rtr, I'm going to make a highlevel kit soon but not before the new year. I have two 2-8-0 28xx Locos that can move it but omg they make a meal of it, the video is coming I promise
  5. Glorious I use 2 2-8-0 28xx Locos at the moment, I've been meaning of making a video of them, I'll do it later. Make you all laugh with the King's and castles Jukebox I'll keep that in mind Jz I'll have a look
  6. Yeah maldon it's what I'm thinking, just wish I coukd pull it with a loco that I actually want I did just remember I have a castle I was going to make both tender and loco drive due to having some spare tenders and Locos
  7. Thanks for the replies guys, I may get a 2-8-2t fill it with lead (as I want one anyway) then if this fails I'll eBay a diesel. £65 sounds good but it's still £65 on a loco I don't actually want I'm also thinking I could fill an old Hornby diesel coco I have with lead but it's only driven by 4 wheels
  8. Yeah the Hornby ones a joke, the Dapol one cuts out on dcc every few seconds. The heavy diesels are why I'm thinking the 8 wheel freight Locos would do better then my current crop of Locos as they're mostly tender drive (although my newer halls can't budge it either lol)
  9. I'm having issues, 2 of my 2-8-0 Locos can pull it but the thing is so damn heavy! I have halls, castles, panniers, 2-6-2s, nothing has any chance in moving it. Does anyone know if the 2-8-2t or the Bachmann 3000 rod can move the thing? Otherwise I'll have to get a diesel thing that will take the investment up over £150 to clean my track.
  10. Haha good point, I've always assumed it was meant to be a castle because of the name and because she has a love for South Wales, Forest of Dean. I think the Bachmann hogwarts set had a castle loco, wasn't available in the UK because of copy right but still
  11. Oh yeah, I'm wrong, also says Hornby now have a Olton Hall which is actually a hall https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GWR_4900_Class_5972_Olton_Hall
  12. Disney (or whoever) now own Olton Hall and it will never be green again. It is meant to be a castle so that is what Hornby used despite it really being a hall. I repeat the Hornby hogwarts model is a castle loco I have Bachmann Sketty Hall and the Hornby Adderley Hall and they both lovely. The Hornby is actually better at pulling but has less detail.
  13. May I ask, are you painting the wheels or using a pen? I hate how shiny some of my rtr running gear is Looking very nice, weathering is done a lot in war gaming too of you want more help
  14. Love the videos etc Richard, I did mention this on your you tube video but honor oak is a good example of what you're after. Especially as it's an old Southern Region station. This is a picture looking down towards Norwood Junction/Croydon Also you mentioned the tvs, well this is London Waterloo east, the second display is a TV still Hope these help with some ideas of cluter
