About Me

I have always had an interest in model and real trains. My first trains were the wooden Thomas ones, when I was about 2 years old. I got my first OO scale trainset when I was 6, and have been hooked on them ever since. 

 

Previous Layouts:

Skipton Railway Station (Victorian Railways, 1955-1960), HO scale. 

 

Planned -

P4 Layout. Name, location and era as yet undecided. See Dunoon and Bonshaw. 

Borderton Railway Station, Victorian Railways and South Australian Railways, 1940-1970, HO Scale.

 

I am a volunteer at the Victorian Goldfields Railway in Central Victoria. and the Yarra Valley Railway in Eastern Victoria.

 

My primary layout interests are BR (ex-LNER and ex-LMS) around 1960 in P4, and the Victorian Railways and South Australian Railways in HO from the early 1900s to 1960s.

Other interests include passenger trains and coaching stock, trackwork, kitbuilding and scratchbuilding.
