A super scene, and urban to boot.
Is there more to see?

N/S mirror?
Too small to make a significant difference.

Very nicely done.
Always lovely to see reworkings of EFE/OOC bus models.
Out of interest where did the front flush glazed windows come from?
Thanks,

No problem with downloading the photo.
Whilst this will not be an exhibition layout, I will be bringing this section of the layout along to the Risborough & District Model Railway club Open Day; hopefully in October.

Fantastic modelling! Absolutely brilliant actually.
Just as I remember Romford station when I used it to go to and from school in the late 60's - early 70s.
I used to sit on the mail barrows that were always by the lifts on Platform 5, just round the corner on your model! On the way home to Shenfield I used to deliberately miss a couple of trains and sit there and do my spotting. Then catch a Class 306 Gidea Park terminator and stop off there for a while before catching my 302 or 307 to Shenfield! Sometimes I took hours to get home! Mum didn't mind, she knew I was happy watching trains! My schoolmate lived in Grays so we'd often hang about on the LT&S Upminster platform.
Your model has certainly brought back some happy memories for me! Thanks for posting.
Oh, by the way, I can't remember the name of the Ice cream parlour under the old LT&S entrance the other side of the road from your model photo. I'd like to know. as I can't find any old photos anywhere of that but I'd love to see any images you may have.

The Ice Cream parlour was called Como Sandwich Bar, according to chat I have just read on Flickr. I would be interested in photos of it as well, as I need to model it.

Thanks for the response. I will model a couple of barrows with a young spotter on them. Were they timber barrows or BRUTEs?
Your Ice Cream parlor may be in the attached photo but I can not make out the name of the establishment.

I am modelling a 1970's version (6.25kV ac). This is after the 1960 rebuild that moved the pantograph from the trailing coach to the driver trailer car.

Thanks Matt. Can you remember what the decking consisted of? I have assumed it was an asphalt finish. I am sure the Goods Shed will be included in our layout. I have just finished the South Signal Box; blog to follow.
