  1. Little taster of something new and another lad and a chap from America having been working on. Also got the same thing but designed by CMAC models that I'm painting
  2. Railtracks 960011 by Dapol that I've upgraded with cameras and floodlights repaired ready for the NEC running legomanbiffo sound and a em1+ sugarcube
  3. Legomanbiffo sound with a speaker I got a while ago from roads and rails will try and get a video in the next few days. Now fitting the lighting to Network Rail UTU1 62384 test coach to go in my rake.
  4. All the lighting added to the Network Rail 153376 VIU, interior added and painted, speaker added, track advances with lights added. Night and day headlight modes, yard mode, bimode markers and tail lights. Cablights and interior light
  5. Network rail autoballaster nearly there, just little bit of weathering to add. Upgraded the servo to a higher torque servo from spectrum. It uses a 5v buck convertor or usb convertor to drop a function output from 12v down to 5v needed for a servo. Another output from the lokpilot is configured as a servo output to open the ballast chute allowing ballast to slowly pour. I've also added the working lights along the bottom that work on a function.
  6. Bit more done on the viu 153 using the video done on how it was designed and made on YouTube I was able to draw the interior that has a generator in it which will house the speaker. Cupboards will hide the decoder and using 3d parts that came with the kit I'm adding independent lighting with all the lighting modes available including spot lighting onto the track.
  7. Nearly finished 62384 UTU1 coach to run with my network rail rake on making tracks the final frontier. A combination of a Bachmann mk1 and the Brittania Pacific kit. 3d printed parts drawn by myself and printed by chris at the club. Decals by Railtec. Will be eventually fitting interior but for now will be fitting syrup lights on the chassis and spot lights to ban on the track and interior strip light. DCC concepts spring pickups provide the power to lokpilot decoder. Using Accurascales idea for removable roof I've used magnets to make the roof be able to be removed too service decoder and add interior.
  8. All the decals added moving onto the electrics now adding different lighting modes, scanning lights and internal lights.
  9. The generator is slightly over scale to fit the speaker in but from viewing through the windows you won't be able to tell. Will drill holes in the chassis and weights to allow sound out but will look better than just seats.
  10. 12 outputs used in total including the 2x standard light outputs for the various lighting. Each end Day Headlight Night Headlight BiMode Marker lights BiMode Tail lights Cab light Interior lighting Under chassis track scanning spotlights I am using a ESU loksound v5 with legomanbiffo sound
  11. Started to draw the basics of the interior with speaker enclosure a the generator need to add batteries, computer racks, kitchen and seats
  12. Nearly there decalling the 153376 network rail test train. Using railtec Decals and Microsoft to get over the rivets. Picking out little details in various colours to add interest. Legomanbiffo sound to go in just deciding on a speaker as I'm hoping to house it inside a because that goes inside I'm hoping to print. Half way through this video there is inside the train
  13. My landrover road railer conversion with its first coat of network rail yellow need to draw the roof rack, box on the front bumper and side steps
  14. Orange cantrail added to the roof, just need to draw and print the little white aerials for the rod and print some of the electrical cable connectors for the ends. Using dcc concepts axle pickups for the decoder and using a Hornby lighting strip and lokpilot decoder.
  15. Little bit of prep work being done on my 153376 viu inspection train. Courtesy of LMSfan72 andy supplied the window blanks, grills and cameras and little bits like the roof aerials etc that he drew and 3d printed. Using the same paint he recommended vallejo game colour 72.023 electric blue and phoenix paints warning panel yellow and network rail roof grey.
  16. Nearly there with network rail 62384, roof ribbing and vents added , painted grey decals getting applied and working out the electrics to run the internal lights, strip lights, spot lights and scanning lights.
  17. All the lighting modes added to this customers mpv including floodlights, spotlights, day and night headlights, yard mode and cablight.
  18. Base Coast of primer to see where I need more filler but will look great in yellow and tested the motor.
  19. Here's mine after an hour decalling. Used bachmanns chassis and bogies, thinned the sides down and glued on the brittania pacific kit bogie sides and I'll add the detailing like electrical boxes, ultrasonic scanner and hand paint the axle boxes and springs
  20. Here is how the coach is coming along so far, 3d printed equipment boxes on the underframe. Steps pipes and cables removed from the ends and smoothed. Sides glossed ready for decals and glued on. Roof having the exhaust mesh fitted, vents and tape added to show the welds
  21. This is a image from Flickr so can't take credit for that but this is what it will hopefully resemble and will be added to my rake pulled by a colas 37
