Thanks, but this isn’t the problem as the motor has exactly same problem when separated from the chassis.

I’ve pinched a motor out of one of my other M7s, but still need a replacement.

possibly, I didn't see the part number linked to the H but it would make sense.

Hi Folks, Some time back I converted an M7 to EM Gauge, it has never run smoothly at slow speed so I put it to one side and got on with other things. Anyway, today I stripped it down and it very much appears that the problem is the motor itself. With the motor separated from the chassis it stalls or doesn’t start at all. I’ve tried on both DC and DCC. It looks like the motor has not been available as a spare for some time. Does anyone know of a motor that could replace it, or does anyone have a spare? The right hand one shows up on the 1860 map and the left hand on a later map but look the same size. I guess it’s possible that one moved on.

I read that too, but surprised if Cannon Street had a table of that size.

Ilfracombe wasn’t unique Ex Hither Green

I don’t think these tables were ever covered over. Similar one at Hither Green, now reinstated at Robertsbridge on the RVR.

It’s not a lot bigger but whatever happens it’ll be a DIY design.

Long time no action. Started installing a turntable for Ilfracombe. Peco kit converted to EM gauge and fitted with Locomotech motorising kit. Looking for suggestions as how to build all the lattice outriggers.

I’m sure we’ll find a way!

It's been a while. It's taken a few evenings to remember how to use Templot but I now have my next venture planned. Turntable etc for Ilfracombe.
